Quick question, does veno gale slow suppose to go through jugger's blade fury (gale and then activate fury)? happened in my last game.

edit: turned out it is like that in dota1.

Looking for some people who can play with me on ladder so I can get better at the game. I tried to play TL inhouse games, but got flamed to shit because I'm bad, so I would love it if some people who don't mind playing with newbies would play with me (don't really know anyone who plays dota 2 IRL). Solo queuing is just boring as hell, so I'd rather find some nice people to play with.

I played LoL for a little while, so I know the basics of Mobas and I've watched some videos and read some guides about dota, but it's all very general and isn't really helping me in games, especially not when I'm forced to play a character I've never even seen before.

IIRC in DotA 1, Venomous Gale and Poison Nova were coded based on Phoenix Fire, which was a Physical-typed debuff, and therefore was unaffected by gaining or losing magic immunity.

yep. i did some testing in dota1. another reason why i got ghost scepter against veno in dota1 (i havent been crazy enough to attempt it in dota2)

I would assume Ghost Scepter doesn't work, as I'm 100% sure that Pugna's Decrepify doesn't remove Poison Nova anymore.

The interactions between the Ethereal (de)buff and Tinker's Rockets are also not the same as in DotA 1 (if you're Ethereal when the spell is cast, the rockets don't target you in DotA 2--and if you become Ethereal while the rockets are in flight, they still hit you and they do the bonus damage).

It does dispel effects. If you have a Haste rune and spin it dispels.

As mentioned before Veno's Gale is a special case, there was a patch note about it a few weeks ago.

how do you cancel (your own) furion tp? just clicking move doesnt seem to do anything like it does for regular tps.

Hey, I cant load Dota2. As soon as I get past the valve loading screen it crashes with the error message "uanable to load version from steam.inf"
I can load the Test client just fine, I have not tried reinstalling yet but im gonna do that right now.
If anyone has experienced this before I would love some advice

NVM got it working- File Validation wasnt working properly but I got it going.

Do illusions give bonus dmg for opponent's echo slam?

Also, if I sprout someone in a blackhole can the spawned trees move enigma and cancel it?

No you have to disturb (disrupt) Enigma to cancel Black Hole. Simply moving him with stuff like force staff won't cancel black hole.
