Probably missed a few but u get the idea, its all about who gets the OD/Invoker/Sven/Spectre with proper supports who keep them alive/make them monsters.
E: Earth Spirit, Clinkz, Puck, Tiny+IO, Weaver having some love too lately. Does Sven really belong in that exalted company? Like he's a good hero but he ain't spectre.
Zeus necro and omni are worth fighting for as well, as usual.

I agree, Sven is good, but that's all he is. Kind like when Slardar was good and some people thought he was op, but he really was just finally good.
|
Well its obviously debatable but from my experience Sven is really strong and stable right now, its like SF used to be, fast farmer with strong teamfight presence and high burst.

if youre stacking ancients and camps, you will hit a timing before spectre and you will be able to 5 man ezpz..nothing they can do.
if youre not stacking ancients and camps, you will not hit that timing and be just "good"

I'm not saying that he can't beat spectre. From his pro performance you could argue that he's actually a lot more stable than spec when played properly.
I'm just not sure that he counts as an MMR-dispenser, because he does actually need to be played properly.
Either way it's not particularly important. I can't see this meta lasting longer than a couple more weeks.
|
I think you're right about the MMR dispenser thing Belisarius. To me Sven is strong, but you need more from the lineups than someone like a Spectre or you'll just get kited around in fights. Spectre's eventually able to mitigate that more by having Haunt, Diffusal, Radiance, and Dispersion.

Is there a trick to avoid getting picked off when dewarding? I have trouble with this because, even if I do know where the ward is, dewarding it means they can see me.
|
probably after winning a team fight or with a companion or with a quelling blade or while pushing.
mostly game sense and experience. every time you die dewarding, always ask yourself how and why and you'll learn from it
|
Warding is a big balance game. The simple answer is to have better wards than them that let you know whether or not it's safe to deward. The darker your minimap is, the harder and less safe it is to ward/deward.
|
Most of the time you can just ask someone to go with you to deward, usually carries won't mind and people are less likely to gank you/win the gank if you have 2-3 people going with you.

Why is Storm not a thing right now?

On April 05 2016 20:33 JoeHannes wrote: Why is Storm not a thing right now? Because of how Icefrog destroyed the hero with multiple nerfs to hero itself and multiple nerfs to how jungle creeps work and bloodstone and shit.
+ Meta is very 5-man oriented right now which is not necessarily storm's strongest part in its current state.
E: Also meta mids now like OD Invoker both shit on storm pre-6 really hard so u cant really play him mid either.

Today I realized that you only get magic stick charges when you have vision of the enemy casting the spell. Is that a new bug or how it supposed to be?

How it's supposed to be (changed in 6.69). Keeps the wand from helping you avoid ganks especially vs heroes that might activate a spell near you, but in fog like Mirana Arrow or Ult, Bloodlust/Enchant Totem, Sprint, etc.

whats the interaction with abyssal and MKB? i know bashes don't stack, but how does the game determine which bash to use?
also - how is networth calculated when alchemist is in the game? will the worth of an agha get transferred to the hero that i give it to? does it count towards my networth?

Alch aghs buffs nw gets transfered to the hero you use it on and will it not count towards your own I believe absssal and mkb bashes stack but not 100% sure

MKB is a unique case where it stacks independently of other bash procs, whereas all other bash procs do not stack with each other. For example, an Ursa with a Basher and an Abyssal Blade will only proc whichever bash source he picked up first, whereas an Ursa with a Basher and an MKB has a chance to proc either independently, or both at once. Heroes with an innate bash will -never- proc a basher/abyssal, even if they do not have any points into said innate bash, though they can use MKB's mini-bash just fine.

So lets say Sven throws Hammer on a hero with Lotus Orb activated and then Rubick spell steals from the target who got stunned, what does Rubick steal?
I'm pretty sure Rubick doesnt get the hammer but then again should he get it or not? Who or what is the caster of the echoed spell? The item or the hero?
In Dotawiki it says: Does not reflect Spell Steal but thats not the case here. But it also says: Reflected spells are treated as if the reflecting unit owns the spell and casts it back on the reflect target.
|
Yeah Rubick doesn't get the stormbolt in that case. Whether or not it's a bug or not I have no idea though.
