no they are untradeable. you can gift them to someone on your friend's list, but the item can only be gifted once.

There's a few stats that were taken into account apparently, mostly gpm and hero damage (heard about similar impressions from many people, so it's the best guess I have), so I'm surprised to hear somebody claiming it's not that way anymore. Anyone can claim anything they want based on anecdotal evidence, so it'd be nice if we at least provided multiple comments on a given subject when making such a claim, instead of just 'dropping the bomb'.

well shortly after the zeus abuse was really put into the spotlight, valve released a patch where they said they changed the calibration algorithm

that's about it in terms of official information

What's the best way to deal with early game Undying?

I was VS in dire safe lane with Terrorblade and he and Riki just absolutely destroyed us. I was pulling neutral creeps to keep the lane really close to us and standing pretty much under the tower but they kept killing us over and over and over.... tombstone zombies wrecked me.

Any advice?

there's not much you can do there. your shitty range means you can't even really harass without putting yourself in range of a double decay. tb has no hp, especially after a few decays so you can't really stand and and fight. and if you turn around and try to run...well riki.

i guess if the lane is going badly and you've already died, you should just abandon the lane and go stack/gank mid. it's unlikely that you being there will save tb if they do decide to fight you, and at least he will be able to get some solo xp

Ideally try to identify these situations earlier rather than later too. The earlier you abandon TB the better off he's going to be as odd as that sounds. If you aren't capable of helping TB in any capacity it's better if TB gets solo XP so he at least is a higher level and can maybe save/turn the ganks. Especially vs undying where denying him double decays makes him a lot squishier. Maybe not abandon him early, but at least understand your insignificance and stay out of XP range so he gets the XP and you are there early on in case there's an opportunity to punish the enemy team.

You can also ask your 2nd support (hahaha, I crack myself up; but seriously the closest you have to one) and/or offlaner to nab an early TP scroll if you think your team has what it takes to counter gank when they dive the tower.

Lol 2nd support... what are we, professionals?? I asked someone else to support with me and they laughed and just said Venge can just hard support.

Thanks for the advice. I had a feeling that this lane was just not good for me but didn't know what the right thing to do was. I left the lane and tried to help mid/bot but I think I stuck around too long and fed too much / robbed terror of xp.

unless you're playing Captain's Mode, don't forget that sometimes you will wind up laning against impossible lane configurations. just make the most out of a shitty situation :/

What would your build be as Veno mid? I dont know whether to go some kind of max wards strat to push the enemy outta lane or go 3-2-0-1 and just kill their mid/gank. I have been wanting to play Veno but my ranked MMR is pretty dogshit so fuck supporting.

mid veno usually goes 0-2-4-1 at 7 and just wardspam to pin the enemy mid hero in lane

How much Sting you get depends on the lane opponent. Usually you want 0-2-3 at 5, but 0-3-2 against certain melees can be reasonable.

Getting the Gale rank is situational, as mentioned.

Super game dependent.

If you want something cookie-cutter that you can play regardless of teamcomp, go Arcanes Meka. Otherwise, anything else is going to be more or less good based on what the team needs.

With the current patch (6.83) do you prefer to try and win early or late, and with what heroes do you find the most success? I'm struggling to find something that works well with some friends (not CM - groups of 3to 5) and could use some tips.

Well currently with Sniper and Nevermore being super popular along with running multiple cores you can kind of do both. Do you normally run multiple cores or somthing like a 4p1?

Clockwerk related question:

Even if I'm doing very well in the mid-game I find that the hero falls off a lot late game. Especially when the enemy team has a hero like Axe or Faceless Void. Is there a particular strategy or item build that one can use with Clock to keep up in that stage of the game or end it quicker?

I find that I get a lot of kills but it doesn't necessarily translate to accomplishing objectives.

We've tried it all. I've had mixed results with both Sniper and Nevermore but I like them both. 4p1 sometimes work if they actually work on protecting the core, which is generally me in that scenario. We communicate throughout the game but it tends to be useless. Even though we will point out wards and items, when to push or go back, people just don't do what is necessary - There's really no tips for that hah. I think the biggest issue is actually not completing objectives when we should be and since I can't make them anymore I should probably just switch back to solo queue.

Not sure if its me, but it seems like the current meta is very unforgiving with even missed opportunities, like pushing a tower when appropriate or securing rosh. Thanks for the suggestions, I just was not sure if someone came across a reliable pub stomp hero.
