Liquid's gone 1-1 this whole tournament. Finally time to see what happens in a game 3.

Is there even a point in having any hope for Liquid at ESL tournaments? They just bomb out of every single of them

While the result is really disappointing, you've got to give credit to Gambit. They played a strong series and more than deserved to move on.

They should've played ESL Mumbai. Mecredes will probably stop sponsoring ESL by the time Liquid stops getting completely wrecked at ESL events.

This season is "saved" by the Disneyland Major, they still won 2 events that were full of lesser team and standins but they did perform shit in others DPC events and they bombed out in the only ESL they did attend. Compared to the past 2 years "it's a disastah!", a good two days of dotes cannot satisfy their punks.
What is really frustrating it's that we know well the team power and worth, they have the means to be constantly get in the top 4, they can lose series with others t1 team for sure but when they get booted by Gambit or Chaos or other lesser team it's worrying. It seems that they cannot maintain a good form, they look great one game and shit the others, Kuroky can bring out some brilliant drafts but it's becoming a pattern of giving away at least 1 game just from the draft (getting bad lanes or impossible winning condition, getting not comfort hero for the boys, etc). It's not a patch thing or a momentary situation, it's a long 10 months pattern and it's not getting better at all. The level of play has increased, they now win games from unfavourable situations but they are always struggling to get a comfortable game.
I am reaaaaaaally pessimistic for Epicenter and TI, they need to address the drafting issue and solve it as soon as possible.

i mean you are pessimistic since your first post in this thread, so that is really not surprising. try to be a bit more positive dude;)

I'm going to reverse curse them and say Liquid is over their peak and won't ever get to TI winning level again.
I think esports is pretty nice.

The boys need something new, maybe they should change someone just for the change

miracle, they play around him and him leaving would be the single change that would actually make a difference, whereas changing any other for other tier 1 player wouldn't change that much. This is, not considering kuroky as a possibility.

edit: but i'm probably talking nonsense
