I'm more than happy with Liquid's performance at the major so I'm not mad at them but it's just too many games and now they're not even high quality anymore due to the Bo1s. DPC needs some very serious changes next season

Whatever Liquid qualifies for or if they qualify at all, I just don't care, and I'm not going to force myself to watch Liquid play these dogshit qualifiers just because I'm a fan. These qualifiers being 2 days after the major and the group stage being fucking Bo1s is just stupid. I'm more than happy with Liquid's performance at the major so I'm not mad at them but it's just too many games and now they're not even high quality anymore due to the Bo1s. DPC needs some very serious changes next season Liquid was the best team in the world for just 2 hours - now they are just tier 3. I am pretty sure that any match they play seriously PPD with Oracle doesnt kill MC + GH 1v2 @ level 1. Twice. \ Then when you kill Ace you don't wait 30 secs for him to respawn before going to Rosh. They started rosh when Ace was 3 secs to respawn. And he had Omni. Then They jump 3 times Monkey King when they know oracle is in the area. Blow all the damage, and then sit in the MK ultimate ![]() Seems like our boys are 2k mmr and don't know nothing about dota. Maybe we need better players - Me for example almost 3k mmr. Ez upgrade.

I think if OG wins against ACE - then there will be a best of one tiebreaker between Liquid and ACE. "2. If teams are tied for advancement to the playoffs, they should play a best-of-one tie-breaker." So even though Liquid lost to ACE in their match, the head-to-head score doesn't seem to matter. At least that's what it sounds like to me. Also - if Alliance lose both of their next matches they will be 3-4 as well, so it might even end up in a 3-way tie breaker. What a roller coaster... We now have to hope that Jerax&friends win to get a chance to make it to the play-offs for the qualifier. Kuro's masterplan of playing LITERALLY as many games as humanly possible?

Jumping in that fight at NiP's shrine was not related to Bo1 or anything :-p Just strange plays and underwhelming performance overall today... :'(

Why were we in a 3 way tie when both other teams won vs Liquid?

I would prefer a bo3 and head-to-head rules as well but given that that's how bo1 quals have always been and it just happening to be bo1 it's kind of a mute point. That being said, I feel like these quals are pretty questionable. Couldn't OG have lost on purpose and eliminated TL that way? I'm glad OG played for the win and I absolutely respect them for that but let's be real here, if you have 2 slots between NIP+OG + 1 out of either TL, Alliance or Ace I'm pretty sure NiP and OG have a pretty damn good reason to make sure Alliance or Ace get through because that way NiP + OG are almost 100% secured to get their invite for the Major. Whereas NiP + OG + TL quals for 2 slots is a lot more stress for those 2 teams.
