Remember DK losing MLG Columbus. Starladder was the only time DK really, really kicked ass. At all other points they never quite seemed to fulfill their promise. I don't see how you can replace the best carry in the world in 6.82 (yes that's Kuroky) with a 2 hero wonder as your carry and expect to do better.
I also don't see how taking one of the world's best position 4s and throwing him in the offlane is expected to work.
I also don't see how taking one of the most celebrated and successful mids in western dota 2 and throwing him into wherever aforementioned 2 hero wonder doesn't want to lane is going to work better than his previous role either.

They have a lot of work ahead of them in order to reach their potential as TI-contenders. The question is whether or not there's sufficient motivation and humbleness.

This is some real revisionist history. Kuro got rekt by arteezy's lycan over and over in big games as super farmed AMs and Medusas. Kuro was not the best carry. Anyway Arteezy was by far their best player this tourney. S4 and Zai have looked awful.
I used to think S4 was the man, but in the DAC playoff and now this tourney he's looked real shaky. Dying in lane, dying out of position, dying without having any impact.
