Been doing decently in Wellplay. Vs Danish Bear wasn't impressive but they played mostly solid and won 2-1. Think they need another level of performance in order to win against tier 1 teams though.

Alliance prioritized the Slardar + naix combo. Went 1-1 with it and won the game they didn't get it in. Jonas timber was pretty bad but their overall play was a level higher than imperial so they won the games. (I took a nap without meaning to in game 1, so not sure how exactly that went.)

Yeah well it feels good that they win, but the improvement is so small, if any, that it feels hopeless. A win is a win, but it sure doesn't feel like it. Some of my spark has gone missing, and that's why I have a hard time coping with this. Talking about tier now, well, bo5 vs liquid (is my guess, unless empire strikes hard through some miracle, no pun intended) is a step towards tier 1.

Yes but they are extreme underdogs going into a series vs liquid, to the degree that winning 1 game in a Bo5 is performing slightly above expectations. I like their overall style and that they are slowly improving as time passes but by the next major qualifier I am still not sure they will be good enough to qualify (depending on spots and who gets a direct invite they can maybe get in).

Mmmhm, the slow improvment is worrying. It's not like any of them are unexperienced. Shudn't take this long to find synergy and strategies.
Was kinda counting on liquid in the finals, but now empire (do they even have a full line up yet). But this is better for A, in my super deep "we fail against miracle"-analysis.
