I've spent like 20-30 tokens on textbooks too.. I think next time if we play on a B server I'll have to: A) 1:17 B) Pimpology credits C) Vests D) 200% stam E) No spending on sewing/guns/books until really big lab. If we don't play on a black market server I'll have to textbook/learn pimp which will be much harder. I'm basically banking on the fact that we'll have 50~ people in our squad to keep goonies off me next server. | ||

****************************************************************************************************** Cartel bonuses are pretty simple. For every $100 cash you junkies make, each of your cartel members receives an additional $1 cash. Similarly for every 100 units of drugs your lab produces, your teammates receive an additional unit. It doesn't sound like much in isolation but it really adds up. A cartel of 20 people concentrating on junkies could expect to receive an additional $10 billion cash in cartel bonuses over the course of the round. That's the difference between a winning and finishing 50th. In a normal round you'd want enough vests to keep you a couple million clear of the player on the "Most guns" record, that's usually enough to keep you safe, but since we joined up a bit late and the gunners already have a head start you're probably better off just spending all your spare cash on vests. In this situation you can never be completely safe but you can minimise the risk. Of course if you're planning on gunning people yourself, don't bother with vests at all. You'll never be able to get enough vests to properly defend yourself so you might as well go all out guns and hope to steal more junkies than you lose. Start off getting lab and junkies in a 1:17 ratio. I personally like 18 lab, that gives you about 300 units of drugs per token making calculations easier later in the round and keeps you about 35 junkies behind the most junkies record. This will take about 2.5 days. During this time spend all your cash on shakes (You need 1 shake for every $50 worth) and vests and try to hold back 40-50 tokens to keep out of the top 10. Not too many though, you don't want to slip back too far and get hit by gunners, sitting just outside the top 10 is best. By this stage your starting coat will be full, and you have enough lab to support 300 junkies. Now you make the switch to labless. Buy more junkies and stop getting lab. Get yourself the 24,000 coat and when you find yourself running short on drugs buy more drugs at the local dealer. Keep doing this until you have about 700 junkies. Again during this phase you'll want to hold back a few tokens to avoid the top 10 and you'll be maintaining max stamina with all spare cash going on vests. It can help to play twice a day during this part. Once you have ~700 junkies you start to get your books. The stronger the gunning is the more books you'll want; if you expect gunners to reach about 50 mil you want about 450 books, 60 mil 500 books, 70 mil 550 books (note: A room like A12 has very poor gunning so 450 books should be enough). Again, no hoarding, max stamina, all spare cash on vests. You'll find yourself falling behind the top 10 now so you don't need to hoard as many tokens. Leave about 10 when you log off. Then get your pimpology to max (don't get theft now, you get that at the end of the round) and get yourself the 192,000 coat and get ready for the main part of the round. Here you're trying to juggle maintaining max pimpology, max stamina, avoiding records and keeping above gunners. It's a bit tricky but here's how my daily plan goes during this phase of the round: 1. Buy shakes to get my max stamina back to 200%. 2. Figure out how much money I'll have at the end of the days tokens, the formula is: Money at the end of the day = Money at the start + 120 * (working junkies + 60) * 350 * 1.75 (120 because you get 120 tokens a day, 350 is the amount of money each junkie makes per token and 1.75 for 175%) I use google to do all my equations, it's pretty conveniant, just type the formula into google and it'll evaluate it for you like so: http://www.google.com/search?q=50,0...0) * 350 * 1.75 3. Figure out how much money I need to spend on vests at the end of the day. I don't want to be on the most money record, I don't want most guns within about 3 mil worth of me either. Apart from that I hoard everything I can. 1 mil worth of vests will cost you 26 mil cash. 4. Figure out how many tokens I need to spend on pimpology credits because of the increased worth. Your worth will increase by about 1 mil for every 26 mil cash you're spending + about 200K for miscellaneous crap. You need 1 credit for every 66.7 worth you have so you can figure out the number of tokens you need to spend from that. 5. Actually spend the tokens. First buy your junkies for today, making sure to keep them fed of course, leaving yourself enough tokens to buy your pimp credits. Then get the pimp credits, again making sure to keep your junkies fed, then buy however many vests you planned to buy. It's a long process but it does a number of things, it keeps your junkies at 175% at all times, it keeps you at 200% stamina at all times, and it gets you your junkies as early as possible. Basically it ensures that you're getting the most money out of your junkies. If during this time you find yourself on the most working junkies record you can send 10-15% of your junkies into training by switching the junkie payout, spending a single token and switching back. Don't do this too often though, it hurts your final score, so it's better to hoard tokens to avoid the records. Now you keep doing this for the most of the rest of the round until there's about 4 days to go. Then you switch to buying theft credits. You get ~120 tokens a day, you need one theft credit for every $100 worth. You must ensure you're at 85% theft at the end of the round so don't try cutting it really fine, better to start buying theft too early than too late. Gunners are moving up fast now and can force you to move up in worth during this time so when I start buying theft I like to aim for max theft at 10 mil more than my current worth. Keep spending during this time to keep clear of the gunners and off the records, you're likely hoarding 800 mil or more at this point so losing jumps at this point will ruin you. Then with 10 minutes to go in the round spend your last tokens, buy as many vests as you can, admire your big score and accept the praise (bitching) of the dopewars forums. | ||
