It's a cheat-code that makes your units unkillable. However, the side-effect is that when the computer AIs attack each other, they also cannot kill each other.

On May 29 2018 15:26 jgf wrote: Thanks for the input. I've used no cheats, only had the game a week or so and want to try it "by the book" first. (Once, in another game, gave myself all the weapons at the start of a level then stalled halfway through when the plot called for someone to give me one of those weapons; since I already had it, he couldn't give it to me, lol.) I was able to recreate exactly what you described, minus the fog-of-war because I had "black sheep wall" on. But you're insisting it's not a result of any cheat-codes, which I find incredibly difficult to believe for many reasons. You're telling me that, in one week, you beat the entire original StarCraft campaign with no cheats? Well, that's plausible, even if you've never played before. I say this because you say "I've used no cheats, only had the game a week or so and want to try it "by the book" first.", which implies that you have: 1) Never played the campaign before 2) Did not own a copy of StarCraft up until this week So, please forgive me if I say that I don't exactly believe you. I showed beyond a shadow of doubt that if you used the cheat code I mentioned, it would recreate the exact scenario that you described. Not a similar scenario, but the exact scenario. You, however, are claiming to have used no cheats (which you attempt to reinforce with your incorrect usage of parentheses) and came across a bug that no one has ever seen before that happens to perfectly resemble a situation that could only normally be achieved with that particular cheat code. Tried the "power overwhelming" bit (had to search how to input cheats), got a message about "cheat enabled", made no difference, Kerrigan is still blasting away in vain. Reloaded the last save (just before she attacks) several times, and get the same result (with or without that cheat). Now, I must ask, how and why would you have a save-state of the game from 'right before she attacks'? That would mean, in the original iteration of this bug playing out, you saved the game in the middle of an in-game cinematic, and conveniently, right before the moment where things went awry. Luckily, you can send saved games through file-sharing, so I would ask you to try to send me the saved game. So, please, send me the saved game, if it happens to actually exist. If I'm making the argument that you're full of shit, then the worst thing that can happen is that I might learn something new, and then say "I apologize, I thought you were making this up because what you were saying was absolutely bonkers." which costs me nothing. I eagerly await the game files. So I've restarted that level, which is somewhat a cheat in itself - I now know where everything is and that it is not necessary to take out the two fake Aldarises (Aldarisii?). Restarting a level isn't a "cheat". It's not even remotely close. Edit: Oh yeah, I almost forgot, you came across this bug, and the first place you posted was here? That's odd.

The only other scenario I see being likely is if there are cracked versions of Starcraft you can download that have all the cheats enabled by default when you play through the campaign.
