I don't get why NO does that though unless you are blowing it all up on offense. He's the best player not named Brees and it isn't even close. And Unger is good but he's 28 going on 29 so even if they are going rebuild that doesn't make sense.

also kind of ironic Sam Bradford was with the rams so long without any as a viable wide receiver threat and now it looks like the same situation in Philly if not worse.

It really is comparable imo, Chip Kelly basically perfected the zone read and there's ways to make it work even without a running qb with stuff like bubble screens, a pitch guy backside, draw/stick kind of plays etc Also, if Sanchez of all people looked passable in that offense, Bradford should be ok.

So it's not like anyone was really expecting kap to run it. (I should note that the aforementioned 5.0 ypc stat was from ESPN radio and only from the previous season) I expect the eagles to attempt to sign Brandon Browner next. or perhaps Stephen Hawking. I think those have the same likelihood.

I think it's a sidegrade at best but for the party receiving draft picks in this scenario to be the Rams is a little eye-popping.

Jake Locker apparently retiring. Not too surprised. Someone looked it up and put it on reddit during the season and I think the number was that he was injured in 20% of his starts

Everything I have seen is the Eagles are getting the pick, I heard a 2nd rounder. Edit: Looks like they are swapping picks of some sort, not fully disclosed yet, but it appears the Eagles will be moving up their pick this year (obviously since the Rams had a worse record) and getting a conditional pick for next year.

EDIT: And the thought occurred to me that they could trade for Kaepernick.
