Blizzard also has LotV coming. I also think cutting in the Korean scene is going to cost them a lot more money. For the first year or two, we'll have a lot of unknown/barely known US players because there's just not enough of them on top to ever have popped up. EU should be quite fine, but the Americas are getting shafted. Big risk is, China will dominate AM and we're none the wiser after that. And Blizzard has a reputation to keep up. They won't just drop the game. legacy wont come anytime soon, the number of games they have released the past year and a half is more so than any other time period in blizz history... hearthstone, HOTS alpha...WoD...legacy will be saved for later...i wont be surprised if they dont talk about legacy at blizzcon either...
I don't care how many other things they're doing at the same time, some announcements about LotV are expected at this Blizzcon.

I feel like they're at least gonna talk about the behind-the-scenes development of it; it's a huge part of Blizzard, that StarCraft thing. I do agree that as a company, they're probably busier than they've been in a long time. But it's Blizzard. They know how to do it.

You will. HotS has been running for 1,5 years if memory serves. They'll at least announce it. Otherwise, LotV is at least another year off announcement. HotS will have been running for 3 years before LotV comes out, which sounds like a really long time to me.

I don't really see them dominating, but maybe that's just me. at the very least, they won't flood in like the koreans did in 2013 but yeah, chinese players don't look like they're that far ahead of AM, if at all

They should bring back season finals. It's the best way to get relatively even competition at blizzcon. This year we don't have such stiff competition. jjakji, san, stardust, jaedong, classic, MC... not as good as the others. last year everyone was extremely good except maybe duckdeok (who actually delivered at blizzcon by defeating Innovation) and MVP.

Mvp was great for the first season, and collapsed in the second. And he's had a disastrous 2014. Duckdeok's also retired.
