I think people overestimate how serious people will be with picks in ranked.
Not like ladder ratings have ever stopped people from yolo insta-randoming every game in DotA 1.

I just hope there is a separate ladder for solo and team. It'll suck playing solo and facing nothing but 5 man premades.

don't give a shit about this. all I read was "next major patch" and immediately started thinkin about legion commander. will she finally enter dota 2 ? will the teasing and torment end ? will I finally be that guy who only plays one hero?

Its not as if the professional scene isn't picking FOTM every single game.
Anyone whos low ranked, and doesn't listen to what high ranked people tell them to do isn't looking to improve and will keep playing their delusional dota of what they think is good.

I'm wondering can we see our MMR directly after this new patch? Like I mean, the rating we currently have after played like hundreds of normal games before. Just curious.
