He also entirely scrubbed his post history, though it's obviously not hard for people to find. http://imgur.com/a/hfUAo being a collection of the most sordid ones.

CNN isn't going to release public details of this guy, because he's a private citizen, but obviously that can change if he's still an ass and doesn't get better hobbies than creating racist/anti-semitic/fascist memes.

People don't check the meme production of people whose memes they retweet to see that they haven't produced offensive memes in the past. While I think it's a completely inconsequential issue (if there's a 0-100 scale of issues of importance and climate change is 100, then 'can retweet offensive stuff without repercussions' is 0.001), a lot of people actually seem to like Trump, and dislike the high horse liberals, because they somewhat consistently look for stuff to be offended by and people want to be able to communicate without being accused of some form of unintended bigotry or offensiveness. It's fair that we should hold the president to a higher standard, of course, but looking through the meme history of this TD contributor just misses the ball completely. I think when you are the president of the US you should maybe avoid associating your brand with questionable content. If vetting is too much trouble maybe just dont retweet memes...

Nyxisto: Its funny, because I feel the anonymity of 4chan is what makes it what it is. Reddit and twitter are just two different flavors of the same anonymity. They just tricked everyone into using them before we all figured out they don't moderate their websites.

I think on Facebook this is possible because your comments go under in a large crowd of comments and it doesn't register with people that they are actually speaking publicly.

Edit: don't count on it. Most older people I know use facebook and have no plans of leaving. And those people vote.

People 100% believe that. If the President retweets a quote from a white supremacist, they see it as a code that the president is one of them. He might deny it and say he just liked the tweet, but disagrees with everything else. But that doesn't matter, the racists will already "know"the President is just doing that because the media forces them too. That is how people work. There are consequences for speech at all times and whom you decide to quote.

In other news, saw this coming. As the digital space becomes less secure at state actors get more aggressive, I except quite a few industries to move back to physical records. And as someone still demands physical invoices all services I purchase, I'm ok with that.
