We've officially ceded all political and moral authority on the issue of climate change.
Also every word out of Pence is cringe worthy.

It's my first live speech. I'm exited

Do note if he says anything interesting. I'm between meetings and can't watch myself.

Yep, but we are a deeply stupid country and needed to touch the stove. His party was so eager for power they didn’t even think “man, this guy wants a bunch of stuff that we will never agree with?” Maybe he will blow up NAFTA without a replacement too.

The lpm rate of Trump is pretty high atm (lies per minute)

Nah, he created hundreds of thousands of jobs.
It's not lying, it's wishing.
Leaving the paris accord, to "reenter it" on "fairer terms". And "if we can't, that's fine".
We'll see how that turns out.

Will be an easy one to beat him up on in 2020 since his position is essentially indefensible. Trump did a lot of indefensible stuff and took a lot of indefensible positions prior to getting elected. People defended him and supported him despite that. Beating him in 2020 is not going to be easy because a lot of the people who voted for him are totally cool with everything he's doing.
It will be interesting to see what people think in coal country in a few years. Coal is more expensive than natural gas so there is pretty much no chance of those jobs returning. Will these people continue to accept the lies about how coal jobs are coming back or will they start voting for the people who promise them job retraining that they don't like, but is an actual solution.

LOL Trump taking his ball home because the rules arent fair.
I hope the world doesnt negociate with this terrorist.

Lol. "We will renegotiate the Paris deal." The lies and misinformation being spewed now are shocking.
The dumb fuck even said it wasn't binding.

TREMENDOUS ECONOMIC PROGRESS
WE ADDED VERY VERY RAPIDLY 3.3 TRILLION DOLLARS IN STOCK MARKET SINCE WE WON THE ELECTION ON NOV 8th 1 MILLION PRIVATE SECTOR JOBS
350 BILLION OF DOLLARS FOR HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF JOBS
BELIEVE ME
Fair and reciprocal trade
peace in the middle east (see above)
attacks on terrorism have stepped up, you see em everywhere
AS PRESIDENT I CAN PUT NO OTHER THING UPFRONT BUT THE WELLBEING OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE --> SO WE WILL CEASE ALL ACTIONS ACCORDING TO THE PARIS ACCORD (that's my favourite)
Is he even reading from a script? I guess that is just his foreplay. His Climate talk is less incoherent.

These people will die blaming others for not bringing their job back.

So what penalties, if any, can be levied against the US for not agreeing to Paris? And how soon would they be implemented?

Yes I am watching / listening but WHO THE FUCK WRITES THIS CRAP
The guardian gets alot of flack, rightly so at times, for lying through omission. What the fuck am I just listening to. Exactly that.

We have decided to leave the bargaining table in the global energy economy and give up our role as part of the leadership. We did this because the agreement stays Paris on it and Obama did it.

Good. Trump is finally getting back to telling the globalists to fuck off.

Tariffs, and that's pretty much a given. Can't tell you how fast they would be implemented, but tariffs are pretty certain, since industries that are bound to invest in cleaner stuff etc wouldn't be competitive anymore. Tariffs will level the playing field again.
Trump is too retarded to actually see that even if china DOUBLES their emissions, per capita they're still emitting less than the US. Worst thing is, so many retarded people will actually believe this bullshit.
edit: point in case.
|
He sees everything as a transaction and all other actors as potential competition. Unfit for office isn't a strong enough word.
