Del Negro is an idiot. I don't understand why he's so stupid.

That foul to give would've been nice though. EDIT: OH GOD...what a good win.

Wow, it's so sad seeing Gilbert Arenas sitting on the bench. ![]() Also, having watched a good part of that game, I would not have guessed that Griffin scored 30 points.

It was a good offensive night for Blake.

The Grizzlies defense on Blake involved Zach Randolph or Marreesse Speights pushing him off the block on every possession. It was a good offensive night for Blake. Griffin made 10 FGs. 6 of those were from assists, so he gets the ball and lays up or dunks. 2 others were 6-foot jumpshots. That's all fine and dandy, but what concerned me was that it seemed like every time he got the ball and he wasn't in the paint, he juked a bit and then got rid of the ball. I'm really not trying to be a player-hater, but I don't see him generating his own offense a lot.

You still have to play when you don't have the ball. And the Grizzlies didn't contain him, he scored at the basket all night. But no, he's not really going to get very open with the ball - everything's pretty contested.

I think people should give him credit for doing a pretty good job of passing out of the post. I rarely hear any praise for him in that regard, but it's an important skill for a guy who's going to be demanding double teams and he's picked it up early.

Considering it's only his second real season in the NBA, I'd be willing to say that Blake has plenty of time to improve. If he can develop a real post game to go with that freakish athleticism he has he'll be unbeatable.
