BAH griffen how have teams not figured him out yet? He has no post game can't shoot no real size just energy. clipper put him out there for rebounding and somehow he scores over 20 in most games. how i am not sure but it happens.

edit: Serge Ibaka could do all this and not be a liability on defense.

yep this, iirc bg led all bigmen in assists last yr, or came close. and managed to be the focal pt of the clips offence as a rook, so obviously he can generate his own off. he has his limitations (needs to be better in the hc, needs to shoot better) but he's certainly solid offensively. still, i had a hearty lol at that possession late in the game where cp3 gave it to bg for an iso, dude is way too unselfish for his own good. clips ppp ev drops like half a pt when cp3 decides to let someone else create

bg still a pretty lol defender, good man guy cos he's so athletic but the dude is lazy, a bit dumb, and has short arms so his team/help d still needs work
muda, is a crime for me to wear a shirt, cos I is so good lookin

What the fuck is Memphis doing. They are the better team, but it looks like they don't have the Will to win these close games. -_-

I imagine that you aren't sure because you don't actually watch basketball. Serge Ibaka, haha.

EDIT: That was pretty rude >_>

Look, I don't care if people hate Blake because they think he's a dick. But it's tired and wrong just to repeat dumb truisms. The entire universe knows that he can't play defense and that his post game is lacking. Who cares? He's producing like at 29 year old Zach Randolph....at 23. He's not a knuckle head, he has size (I have no idea why you said he doesn't,) he can handle the ball and he's a good passer. Why don't we all spend 10 pages complaining about the fact that James Harden doesn't have a midrange game. That'll be tons of fun.

I think the biggest difference for Memphis between this series and last year's against the Spurs is Zach Randolph. He was hitting midrange shots and doing well in the post last year. He's been missing layups right and left this year and not hitting the midrange shots anymore.

As for Blake, there's no way to compare him to Randolph and Ibaka. Blake is a good slasher with handle and passing skills. His game has no range at all. Randolph is a more traditional post up player whose game is grounded. It doesn't rely on athleticism or leaping ability at all. Ibaka is more of a spot up midrange shooter.

was talking about the play just before that

well that never happened in the game i was watching. even checked play by plays

might be because he missed it, and also they counted it as a jumpshot in the play-by-play

Parker Jump Shot: Missed 00:28.9'

espn calls it a "4 foot jumper" lol

I'm a bit torn, on the one hand I'm happy if the Clippers win because I think they're easier for the Spurs but on the other I personally like Memphis more.

One thing's for sure though, Memphis deserved to lose. They didn't play smart at all, fouled way too much and completely forgot about Conley/Gasol P&R for most of the game in favour of Rudy Gay Isos, which weren't as effective. And sure, the Clippers are a team of shameless floppers but it's most of the time it's because they do get fouled. Don't expect the Spurs to give them as many free throws.

I had to check that stat of assists for blake, he is high, at top 20. ill note that most other players above him are nobodies, so ill knock him down to top 10 last year, behind pau, lamar, garnett, smith, david lee.

that being said, I think its important to note the point guards the clippers had last year, moe and bledsoe, were not nearly as dynamic as cp3 is especially in the passing department, oneis an athlete the other is a shooter, so blake was the main instrument of the clippers offense last year. you can notice this when you compare last years stats to this years stats, he dropped half an assist per game, while upping his fg% by almost 5%.

he definitely a good passer, and one of top elite pfs that can pass, but some player just have a much better innate passing ability. pau, lamar, diaw, smith, all triple double threats for their ability to pass.

Good interview of Mike Brown on the Session-Blake backcourt and the reasons why if you are interested. (laker fans prob saw already). K-bros have some okay stuff sometimes and this one is good if you just like basketball and not even the Lakers.

At some point you just have to admire the guy for that. I mean flopping against the ref is a piece of art

I don't know, he is the best passer on the hawks though. He actually has very good court vision, but his IQ isn't as high as some other players so he gets a bad rep, as he often tries to do to much.
