That one play where Fisher chose not to pass the ball to Westbrook on the break and instead chose to drive right into the teeth of the MIA defense and get blocked was a huge mistake. It resulted in a 4 point turnaround and broke Westbrook's rhythm. 3. In line with the last one, who told Westbrook to stop recklessly attacking the basket at the end? I know Durant is the marquee player, but why insist on trying to get him the ball at the expense of going away from what had become a guaranteed basket every time down the court? 4. I know that we generally frown on complaining about refereeing, and definitely against using it as an excuse for a loss, but I can't help but feel that OKC got shafted by the refs this game. There were so many phantom fouls, ticky tack fouls, and no-calls that went against the Thunder all game, more than a few on key plays. The reffing wasn't the reason why the Thunder lost, but you can't ignore that the reffing was pretty one-sidedly bad this game. For point 4, just me or has it been prevalent the entire series? Not really complaining, but I keep feeling like it. edit: or maybe it's just crazy home court advantage. Well, OKC can't win playing this way anyway.

As much hate a westbrook is gonna get, I don't think 2 rebounds for KD and 8 points for Harden is going to cut it.

Overall the calls have been skewed toward Miami (in my opinion), but Harden is a much bigger issue. This is a big time scorer off the bench who can carry the offense for big stretches. OKC can't exactly adjust to having him disappear, since he is the only bench offense they have.

Fouls generally go to the aggressor, which has been the Heat. Plus OKC likes to reach when they get beat, while Miami just lets them go and trusts the bigs to defend. I'd put this on Scott Brooks. Can't put Harden against LeBron and expect him to have any gas left for offense.

Being 6'11, you would think he could grab at least five to seven but I guess he just doesn't play physical enough for that to happen. KD is 6'9" lol. It's only 2 inches' worth of difference but it's pretty huge. 6'9" is already quite tall though. Makes him seem very thin because he doesn't weigh that much and is really tall. Also, they're in a tough spot with Lebron. You can't really double him off the dribble with his passing and he's having a great time posting up (weird!) players who play some really bad man defense in the post.

Don't know why I thought he was 6'11 but still he should be able to grab more than two at 6' 9".

That's not an excuse though, The Thunder's defense was pretty spotty tonight - this is the one team where they can't cover up their flaws with length and athleticism. Also, they're in a tough spot with Lebron. You can't really double him off the dribble with his passing and he's having a great time posting up (weird!) players who play some really bad man defense in the post. I don't think it's that weird, there was even this big SI article about how LBJ wanted to reinvent himself or whatever during the offseason, talked to Olajuwon about the Dream Shake and posting up and all that stuff. But of course I guess that's the point--he wanted to make himself just that much harder to deal with and perhaps it's working. But yeah, Thunder's defense really was pretty weak for several stretches. Yeah I know, I agree that he probably should have been able to grab some more boards.

Westbrook with a great response to a question about media criticism in his presser tonight: "No. Let me get this straight. What you guys say doesn't make me happy, doesn't make me sad. Doesn't do anything. It's all about my team and us winning a game. I don't have a personal challenge against you guys, and it's not me against the world. It's not the world against me. It's me and my teammates trying to win."

Durant is the best player in the world and was robbed of an MVP. So what if he's not as good (as in, not even in the same league) of a defender, rebounder, playmaker, and is less efficient on offense compared to LeBron? LeBron has no 4th quarter!!! Here's Rio's response to a question about the Thunder putting Durant on him tonight: "I took that as a little sign of disrespect."

This is where the OKC length should have a advantage, there not boxing out and being aggressive on the boards. Soon as they realize they are the better team no one will stand a chance. OKC blew there chance to sweep and let Miami steal 3 games. Can OKC still win it? Yes. Will they? Not looking good. Who will stop them next year? Good Luck
