KD is 6'9" lol. It's only 2 inches' worth of difference but it's pretty huge. 6'9" is already quite tall though. Makes him seem very thin because he doesn't weigh that much and is really tall.
Welcome back hehe. Dang I missed a lot of the highlights including that one I think...will havta go watch some recaps for sure.

Don't know why I thought he was 6'11 but still he should be able to grab more than two at 6' 9".

This is where the OKC length should have a advantage, there not boxing out and being aggressive on the boards. Soon as they realize they are the better team no one will stand a chance. OKC blew there chance to sweep and let Miami steal 3 games. Can OKC still win it? Yes. Will they? Not looking good. Who will stop them next year? Good Luck

Team won't stay together next year. But maybe they can still ship Harden out for the #2 pick and get MKG and be ok, and get Phil Jackson. I wouldn't mind seeing that.

Harden and Ibaka still have a year left. But Phil Jackson I never thought about that, after him saying he didn't want to coach NY or Orlando because its not close to Montana and Brook not getting a extension yet. POWER MOVE

Quick thoughts:

1. Harden is losing this series for the Thunder. I don't think any elaboration is necessary.
2. That one play where Fisher chose not to pass the ball to Westbrook on the break and instead chose to drive right into the teeth of the MIA defense and get blocked was a huge mistake. It resulted in a 4 point turnaround and broke Westbrook's rhythm.
3. In line with the last one, who told Westbrook to stop recklessly attacking the basket at the end? I know Durant is the marquee player, but why insist on trying to get him the ball at the expense of going away from what had become a guaranteed basket every time down the court?
4. I know that we generally frown on complaining about refereeing, and definitely against using it as an excuse for a loss, but I can't help but feel that OKC got shafted by the refs this game. There were so many phantom fouls, ticky tack fouls, and no-calls that went against the Thunder all game, more than a few on key plays. The reffing wasn't the reason why the Thunder lost, but you can't ignore that the reffing was pretty one-sidedly bad this game.

For point 4, just me or has it been prevalent the entire series? Not really complaining, but I keep feeling like it.

edit:

or maybe it's just crazy home court advantage. Well, OKC can't win playing this way anyway.

I felt that way to, and more importantly it was visibly getting to them, but I put it somewhat down to rooting for OKC so we get a better chance at a long series.

It's interesting how Miami's small ball tactics have pretty much nullified the defensive effectiveness of Ibaka and Perkins. If OKC had a decent post threat this series may look a lot different.

That would be crazzzzzy! Harden as he is is way ahead of MKG and I love the Kidd, or even Bradley Beal - which would be an essential "reset" on the 6th man-two-guard thing. No way. Remember, Harden is still under contract next year and after that, he's still just a RFA. The Thunder have a nice window - but shipping away our 3rd best player and potential top-5 shooting guard (he's a bit away,) is not the way to keep that window open.

I feel bad for Westbrook at the end after the great game he had, but it was probably over at that point anyways. I think you gotta hang this one on James Harden. That's the worst game I've ever seen him play.

I don't understand why it's Harden guarding Lebron James. He spends all his energy trying and failing to stop James.

LBJ guards Perkins most of the time he is in the game. Maybe run more plays for Perkins to test those cramps. Minutes are catching up can Wade close out?

Thanks for the correction regarding Harden and Ibaka guys, thought they were both RFA after this season for some reason.

He comes in for Sefolosa and Durant has been getting into foul trouble so he has no choice.

thought the same thing too. if your gonna put a smaller defender on james, if i was brooks id let sefalosha guard lbj and westbrook/harden on wade. rotate collison and thabo with lbj.

How did James Harden forget how to play basketball all of a sudden? He's costing the Thunder this series. I have rooted hard against LBJ but his time has come. He's really changed my perception of him this postseason, and if you can't respect his all time great playoff (and regular) performance then you are just blinded. It's simply astounding how he puts up 30-10 on every single damn night with efficiency, especially against a bigger team.

LeBron just wants it more than anybody else out there.

You can't match that fire and willpower.

Not going to compare him to Jordan, but that big time 3 that LeBron sunk was a lot like Jordan's "flu game" last shot 3 that he drained. Just wanted it so bad he willed his team to victory.

Hahaha lol, oh wow also realized both of you have been here since 03, nice.

Though...ugh China's NBA site doesn't have highlights I think =__= and youtube is blocked so I won't be able to find it there...boo...edit: nvm found it, and heck yes over 7 minutes too :D

edit: hm, so many surprises this series. Before it, people were calling Thunder in 6; now it looks like Heat in 5 potentially. And then you have people calling that Spo will make a fool of himself and take all the flak for Miami's loss; now Brooks seems to be the one making iffy decisions. And then you have Harden underperforming and James playing rock solid in the Finals.

Durant has been in serious foul trouble like 3 games guarding Lebron. 4 fouls and he had to sit down before the 4th quarter even began, and 5 fouls and nearly got a 6th against battier in a close game that they won.

This was game 4 not game 3. Your post is 1 game late.

lebron was having cramps against the pistons i believe when he had that legendary game 5 against them like 5 years ago. when he's trying to play every minute of every game he's bound to see some trouble with his body.
