Freedom is great as long as you're not preventing someone else from enjoying freedom due to your lifestyle. (ie. free to murder; of course that's wrong, freedom has its limits) Preventing a child from life is the most heinous, disgusting act I can think of.

Like Norway's spree shooter or the Train Bombings in London. I mean yeah, these people are absolutely messed up in the head, but it's not just the USA. I think that things like this just get more publicity in the USA then anywhere else, but it's still completely inexcusable and revolting. Nah, USA does have the highest rate of criminality and homocides. Personally I think it has to do with gun laws and death penalty making taking lives justified in a way by people who arn't 100% right in the head. Ofcourse that's just my thoughts, and I might be completely wrong, and I have no proof whatsoever to back them up. I completely agree with you that sick shit happens all over the world all the time. I'm interested if this was caused purely by lack of education in what lack of water does to you, or if they had some pyschological lability.

USA has the highest rate of criminality and homicides according to who? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate http://www.unodc.org/documents/southeasterneurope/Doc_1_UNODC_HEUNI_International_Statistics_on_Crime_and_Justice_2010.pdf No, it doesn't, as a matter of fact. I don't know where you got your information.

I was born and raised in Texas and still live there today and I absolutely agree with the death penalty. Some people can't change, some people are absolute monsters. It doesn't matter to me if they have a mental deformity that causes them to act the way they do or if they're just genuinely evil. Some people need to be removed from this planet. They're not going to change, they are fucked up in the head. I understand that anyone could be subject to a mental deformity that causes them to behave in ways that go against our most deepest beliefs as a society. That's life. It sucks, it may seem unfair, but that's how it is. People need to be removed. If I was a sadistic monster I would want to be removed from this planet as well. If anyone has a problem with that feel free to take it up with god, mother earth or whoever the fuck you feel is responsible, but it isn't me. I didn't create the monsters, but I will see to their destruction.

Don't ever mention gun laws as a reasoning for high crime rates in America.

United States is 5.0, not 6.5. Despite popular belief, the USA is not synonymous with North America, as North America has ~20 more countries. 1.5 * 4 = 6 > 5. Also keep in mind that attempted murder is counted toward the 5.0, and not toward Western Europe's 1.5. This also includes nonnegligent manslaughter rates. http://www2.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2009/data/table_01.html

Even if he meant Western Europe only those stats are inaccurate, because North America lumps in Mexico with it's drug wars.
