One thing we can rest assured, the Texas justice system does not go easy on these types of people.

I fully expect them to receive nothing less than a life sentence, as they should.

I'm in Dallas and my girlfriend and I have both suffered mild heat exhaustion and dehydration just going outside. I can't go anywhere without a drink in my hand. That must have been the definition of hell. I can't imagine what must have been done to those awful people that made them do something so awful to such a young kid.

It's Texas. The jury is practically guaranteed to show no mercy in a case like this, and they don't deserve any mercy anyway. A child is the last thing you should harm. Normally, I wouldn't advocate the death penalty, but I'd rather that then have them waste taxpayer money for the rest of their miserable lives. Bring on the needles.

I think this is one of the cases where the "let the punishment fit the crime" idea should come into play. Have those 2 be deprived of water untill they die, watched over by guards of course to make sure they comply. have them handcuffed and leg cuffed the whole time too, maybe with a ball and chain too.
