How is that only "injury to a child"? This is murder by any means. Dehydrating someone for so long has the same expected result as shooting a bullet in his head. Serious injury guaranteed and 99% death. And malice can't be denied either. I hope they change the charge to "murder". I am also glad that this happened in texas because anything but the chair would be too good for them. | ||

As has been repeated numerous times in the thread, "causing serious bodily injury to a child" is the equivalent of murder to Texas State court. At least the parent who beat the child to death can say that it happened quickly or in the heat of the moment. That doesn't mean that such a person isn't fucking evil, but just compare it to these people. They had to live, in the same house, with a child who they were willingly denying water. For five days. How cold do you have to be to even be able to do that? That isn't a "heat of the moment thing". That's every hour. Every minute. For five days. Did the child beg for water? Did they have to hear his appeals to just have something to drink, please? There would have had to be something. Which means that they would have heard his appeals and been unmoved by them. These people weren't idiots. They were sick fucks. Don't insult actual idiots by comparing them to these assholes. | ||

That is something known as hypocrisy. You sound like a vigilante (which is not a compliment) who has serious problems. I remember when I heard that I was pretty amazed.
