Wow, and I thought going to bed without dinner was a bad punishment.

That's very surprising that ANY parents could do that; even going a day without water(or liquids) seems harsh (esp for a 10yo).

What the hell, I've been through some serious punishment from my parents when I was a kid, but wtf???

this kid was too much of a good kid, taking the punishment even when he probably didn't even do whatever his parents accused him of.

both of these parents need life sentence in prison and also whoever gave them the idea that this was a good method of discipline.

"injury to a child causing serious bodily injury" is a bullshit charge. Depriving a human beeing for water for 5 days is more in the category "Attempted murder".
