I want to see the parents' faces in interviews or in the courtroom, because I'm pretty sure they are not remorseful at all. If they look like they do, it's only because they fear prison more than they regret the death of that boy. but you quoting me for malice and stupidity?

Just recently parents beat a kid to death and his sibling almost to death and now that... Kinda glad you're not allowed to beat / torture your kids around here.

Yeah, exactly. I live in Texas and would never intentionally dehydrate a child. I don't understand why some people being pieces of shit means we have "ass-backwards fringes," whatever that means. I'm sure it's meant to be offensive though.

A first degree felony in the United States, specifically in Texas, carries with it a minimum penalty of five years to life. This translates to 60 months of jail time if convicted, at a minimum. Source Someone caught with drugs, on the other hand, is charged with a Class A Misdemeanor, punishable by up to 1 year in prison. Unless you're trafficking 50 to 2000 lbs of marijuana, which is a felony punishable by 2 to 20 years in prison.

If someone chained up an adult next to a hot window and let them die of thirst, no one would be looking to soften it up to some jail sentence. I would really have no qualms about seeing these scumbags get the lethal injection.

These people will be charged with both murder and torture, child endangerment, child negligence, and much much more, and in Texas they will get at least life in prison, if not the death penalty. Yes, America has (kinda) strict drug laws, but that's completely besides the point. Next time please at least do a little research before insulting a country of 300+ million people.
