Gross negligence, it's just inexplicable. Parental discipline should not be equivalent to torture. And it's terrible for the twin as well, because at such a young age he's witnessed the slow tortuous death of his brother... Despite being a child that no one would place blame on, who knows what might haunt him in the future. | ||

Also, I can't possibly be the only one who fails to understand how the dead twin could let himself die of dehydration. If my parent deprived me of water, even for a day, I and I think many others would have notified SOMEONE and asked for help. I think we're not getting the whole story. | ||

And yeah, without food you can last for months as long as you're getting water, especially if you're not doing any kind of labor. | ||
