But this is fucking appalling, how the hell can anyone tolerate their own president having to defend himself against such retarded and indignifying falsehoods. Can the USA fail already so we can all learn Chinese and join the Chinese collective -_- new chinese overlords gogo

First of all, any such law is unconstitutional because it must be passed at a federal level, not a state level. Individual states have no say in who runs for president. Basically, no candidate would have to pay attention to it at all and the law would simply be symbolic. Secondly, it's doubtful Obama released his certificate because of the "useless" Arizona law; he probably did it because Trump was running on what was basically a single-issue platform to get to the top of GOP polling. Not really. Given that the electoral college still exists, in legal terms states (still) have power over who gets on the ballot. Or course usually it's a formality - get your party endorsement/signatures/fees/whatever and *yawn* but process does vary from state to state. I'm not sure what would happen if a state refused to put a national candidate on the ballot, but in theory they've got that power.

It's funny how insignificant news gets blown out of proportions which let the real news slip under the radar. I'm certain that the Obama administraion is grateful about people debating stuff like Obama's birth certificate, 9/11 conspiracys, the Kennedy assasination, area 51 ect. so that we don't look at what's actually happening in the world. So that we don't actually get concerned about stuff that's right infront of us in the newspapers.

Trump To Obama: Now Release Your College Records Donald Trump tells the press they are protecting President Obama. "I'd like to know how does he get into Harvard, how does he get into Colombia if he isn't a very good student," Donald Trump told the press this morning in New Hampshire. "If he wants to release it that's fine, if he doesn't want to release it that's fine too. But the word is he wasn't a very good student," Trump added. You didn't seriously think this was over, did you? On April 28 2011 02:07 Reaper9 wrote: To be frank, I don't care where someone comes from. If they can run the United States, the country I live and was born in, and run it well, then for me, it's not even an issue. I agree(not necessarily on Obama being a good president though), but the constitution says otherwise. In my opinion, the most logical way to do it is a constitutional amendment removing the requirements of being born in the country, and having being born of a US citizen or legal immigrant working on citizenship be sufficient. Should probably up the years of residency requirement up to 20 years as well.

There are more important things going on in this country than Obama's birth certificate and college records. The government would not put him into office if he were not born here. I think this whole ordeal is stupid and racist towards him. "He's a different color that means he could never be born here." People who believe it is fake are stupid. And seriously they are not going to stop this? Start worrying about the budget that's going to run out in 3 months, not Obama's college records.

You can already tell where that's going: 'Obama only got into good school because of affirmative action and his sad life story made into a college essay!' - or something along those lines. It's time for obama to strike back with a major issue too: Donald's hair. Real/fake? Coloured/not? Professional hairstylers? These are the kind of questions that need to be answered before anyone can vote for a candidate. Trump should just crawl back under the rock he came from and focus on getting more of his companies to go bankrupt.
