Especially since this should be:

Trump is such an idiot. Now he wants to see to see Obama's academic records cause he doesn't believe his grades were good enough to get him into Harvard.

I'm so sick of this even being an issue for some people. So much more important things people should be focusing on.

Trump is a complete idiot... I thought he had more sense than this.

Funny that the document brands people as "African" or "Caucasian". What's the term for their kid? And what if that kid has a child with an "Asian" person? I have no problem with those who want to divide people into "races" while talking, chatting informally etc, but to have it documented on a birth certificate? ^^ Weird country.

Holy shit you don't do this? lol.
And someone who has 1 parent white and 1 black is black. And same if Asian.

American media is so dumb. I don't know how you guys deal with this shit day in and day out.

Well, glad he finally did it. I didn't really doubt that he was born here, but the fact that he continually refused to release the thing just added fuel to the fire. I'm really not sure why he didn't just release it in the first place to kill off the rumors before they got big.

No, we don't do it. In fact if I were to ask a fellow swede who has immigrated or has foreign parents what his "race" is, he would probably get very offended and brand me a racist. And if someone were to ask me, I sure as hell wouldn't say Caucasian, I would give them a confused look and say "What?". ^_^
But to continue on the child question. Let's jump forward 10 generations, suddenly the offspring looks just as white as any "caucasian" kid, but since one of his ancestors were of african race, the whole bloodline is branded as such forever? ^^ Plus, what about situations where you got ancestors from all over the place, surely there's people with a mix of 5 different races in the USA, what do their birth certificates say? ;>
Not trolling, I'm genuinely curious.

Never doubted it (although I'm Canadian so my opinion doesn't matter in this case probably). Glad Obama stepped up to silence the silly people anyway.

If you are born in Panama, you aren't born in the US. US base or not. You are either born in Panama, or in the US. Not both.
Also, Hawaii is annexed territory. International law says territory can't be acquired through war. Right now it is hard to say that Hawaii is not US territory, but it shouldn't be. Hawaii belongs to the native people of Hawaii. Right now, there live a lot of non-natives. Fine. We have to accept that. Give them both equal rights to vote. Same ought to be done eventually with Palestine-Israel.
Just imagine if Obama had been born in a Saudi US base...

So much feathers ruffled for nothing. I guess anything that distracts people from the real issues was bound to prove popular especially for those with pre-existing misgivings about Obama.
Oh and LOL at Trump for trying to take credit for this. The guy has cojones I'll give him that.

He released this document??.. or do you mean the live birth one?... cause there is a difference

I frequently get headaches thinking about the leader of the free world being chosen by people who actually spends time with this kind of ridiculous issues. People should worry a lot more about their actual policies than what it says on their birthcertificates.
It seems kind of even more ridiculous when you consider than this wasn't a huge issue with any of the other recent presidents, what makes Obama special? What actually sparked this in the first place?
Edit: Ah, Hawaii makes it special?

knowing the demographics of a country is important for a variety of reasons, which is why it's done.

Think it was rather mature of him to release it. Good decision. Why is it that Washington DC needs so much "adult supervision"?

I hate to break it to you but in both 2008 and now it's a Certificate of Live Birth. Not a Birth Certificate. You know why? Cause Hawaii only uses Certificates of Live Birth... thats what they are called. Residents of Hawaii use Certificates of Live Birth for drivers licenses and everything.
There's no difference in documents.
