Oh yeah, and I love zerglings. http://lore.mysites.com/get_file/2010-week-10/win-vs-bento-gg.sc-2-replayAbout me: I'm [UCB]Lore .. mentor to Professor Alan Feng (Nimue) of the UC Berkeley Starcraft Class. I'm using his Beta key account so these games are under his name (Integral.Financier). I think he's busy cuz he never plays his account, pretty much the last 80 games are from me =] EDIT: I'm not sure if the file extension is correct... is it supposed to be .sc-2-replay or .sc2replay? If the replay is not working, that might be why. Change it to the right one (Sorry, I can't check.. at work right now) Nice, the game against Artosis is strange, he gets a bunch of drone kills but it's like he stayed in that mode for to long and couldn't push / kill you or contain so zerg gets out of control. Is that what it felt like to you? Against bentoboxrox can you tell me why he kept pumping immortals from 2 robos while you clearly stopped making roaches like 1/4th of the way through the game? As far as I know aren't collosi the much better choice if roaches aren't in play? Or would you have just gotten some infestors or corruptors to counter them. The nydus wyrm certainly seems very effective once 2 or more bases come into play. Yeah, but, to be fair, Artosis couldn't expo due to creep/burrowed unit at his natural I think some players just think immortals > everything .. or that all zerg makes roaches or something. Honestly, its a mistake on his part.
Honestly, games like these just make me wonder why it is that Terran players don't recognize the value in the awareness provided by a few well placed sensor towers. The only way for you to drop a nydus in their mineral lines would be via the vision granted by an overlord, knowing that, I feel like S.Towers are the perfect counter. Add a few vikings to the mix and you can effectively clear out any ovies from your base's perimeter. For 125/100, all of that econ rape could've easily been avoided...
Am I missing something?

Yes, you're missing that you can also use things like changelings and burrowed units for vision (in team games you can even use your teammates scans/observers too).

So basically, all you need is preventive static defense... On a map like scrapeyard, I don't think burrowed units could easily get past a few turrets on the elevated platform near the 1rst expo~

Agreed. But its going to be even harder to offensively nydus someone now so its not really an issue anymore!

Search for CowGoMoo replay pack. He's got an almost unheard of 92% win percentage in platinum using Terran.

Harrydg.hdg platinum rank 2 division 7 NA server.
6 or so Zerg 1v1 games, nothing special, just something to watch since the 5th patch just came out.

I don't know why the energy went down, but I monitored unit health and the units seemed to take damage from every Roach volley. Also, the intercept animation wasn't there.

Recommended watch for sure! Nice game it's pretty cool that this opener looks to be a valid strategy. (a bit silly too though) Nice to see the massive base trades and how those stalkers were actually able to blink to the island, but winner was pretty obvious at the end

Yes, after you brought this up I tested it, and strangely the energy does go down yet there is no benefit to be had.
I reported it as a bug a couple of days ago =)

I don't thikn the winner was so obvious
There were a couple things people watching the stream suggested I could have done that would have won me the game:
1: spam cannons at that island. Sure he would have yamato'd a couple but the others would have either killed or at least weakened the BCs.
2: At the end when he only had 2 weakened BCs that retreated from my one pylon, I couldn't leave my pylon because I'd die, but they pointed out I could have blinked over teh cliff to kill the two weakened BCs. Had I done this I could have sent all of my stalkers to his base in the island and with all of them there I am confident I would have killed him and won.

could we got some ratings or comments on the reps?
seems like i always download the crappy ones ala " mass 1-2 units till 11 minutes, aclick armies on eachother, game over"

So I did an old fashion Ovie drop, in a ZvT and the guy responses with "WTF I thought they took that out of the game, I've never seen any zerg even attempt it yet"
