Q: Your decorated your first RO16 match with a win.
A: I didn't feel too good when I was picked first in the selcting round. I thought other players would'nt want to play me because of my unique style but that wasn't the case. I wanted to tell them that their choice was wrong.
Q: You used an "All-in" strat.
A: It wasn't an "All-in" strat. Through practicing I discovered the 6 starting point was even vulnerable to gas rush. And plus, even if I failed in my first scouting attempt, I had a backup strat. It didn't matter much. During practice, I won if my opponent didn't find what I was doing. But later my teammates grew immune to this strat so I was a bit nervous, but since my opponent did proxy rax I was able to win easily.
Q: You changed your hairstyle.
A: I wanted to start RO16 with a new mindset, and plus a lot of people didn't like my hairstyle. Even my coach didn't like it. (TT used to have a weird afro, but now he looks much better.)
Q: Your strats make the fans eager to watch.
A: When I watch my opponent's games, I discover parts of his defense I can break through. That's what I aim for.
Q: What is your strat for RO16 week 2
A: I will still use my unique style. Even though I may use a normal build, I will make it unique. I will win, and make sure I'm the first one qualified for the next round.
Bisu's Interview
Q: It's a good start
A: Its my first RO16 and I was so nervous. My hand is still shaking. As the game progressed I got more nervous. Goodfriend said he wanted to win and gain some attention, but I won so I want more attention.
Q: You were damaged by drops.
A: Drops hurt me during practice too. I wasn't damaged by the first drop, but the second drop hurt a bit. Tanks were dropped within my dragoon's range, so I thought if I just eliminated the tank I would win since I was preparing carriers.
Q: Did you have any counter-strats for drops
A: I just thought I will block them with carrier-dragoon combo. I was thinking I will defend, defend, and defend until I won. This situation always occured during practice.
Q: Was today's concept carriers.
A: If carriers start to gather, this map is very good for protoss. I wanted to end it with my carriers. Withouht carriers, protoss can't win. I saw my opponent preparing wraiths so I added a few observers and played cautiously.
Q: Your next map is New Baekdu Degan
A: It's an okay map for Protoss. I want to win and spend my Choosuk holiday comfortably. (Choosuk is Korean Thanksgiving)
Rock's Interview
Q : Its your first RO16 win.
A : During the selection round I promised I would win so I had to win. I'm glad I showed Shine that his choice was wrong. Poor Shine..(he laughs)
Q: Did you prepare the 4 gate push?
A: I originally had another strat. But as I practiced with teammate Jaeho I gained a lot of strategic help. I built two gates outside, and wanted to strongly push with 4 gates. I didn't know my opponent was going 3 CC but ultimately things worked my way. I am so thankful for Jaeho because although he has a game tommorrow with Junwi he spent a lot of time practicing with me. Same goes for my teammate Kim Sung Jin.
Q: Your play of breaking through mines was great.
A: Normally players plant around 12 mines, but the pathway I used didn't allow that. I thought if I moved around with zeals I would get hit with about 6 mines, and I aggressively pushed through. Zeals are cheap anyways. My opponent was probably not expecting this because players usually don't break through mines without obs. A change of thought is what is important.
Q: You look very happy.
A: I'm happy because everything went according to my plan. I want to continue this pace and win with a fresh mind. I hope everyone is looking forward as well. I'm working especially hard for the fans who still stand by my side when I loose or go through hard times.
Q: You were a not part of Legend of the Fall (A legend that says Protoss owns in Fall season)
A: It was hard getting to the RO16 so I didn't have time to think of that. When I lost, it was because I played bad and when other Protosses won, it was because they played well. I was a not part of the legend because I kept loosing. I think its embarassing. I can't continue loosing when other tosses are winning. (Smiles)
Q: What are you doing during Choosuk break
A: After my game on the 4th I'm heading home. That's why I want to win. Qualifying for the next round will be a good present for my mother.
Zergman's Interview
Q: It's a good start for RO16
A: I'm glad that I won. I lost a lot in Proleague these days so I was loosing confidence. With this win, I gained my confidence back.
Q: The build orders were different from the start.
A: My opponent was a 12 Spawning strat so if he became a little more aggressive and used drones, he would have blocked my early rush. But he wanted to play safe and cancelled his nat hatchery. After seeing that I cancelled zergling speed upgrade and went lair. From that moment I knew I wasn't behind.
Q: You looked very confident in the muta fight
A: I usually just pour everything in when fighting. I thought I had more mutas, and I actually did. My opponent upgraded zergling speed, so I had 200~300 more gas. After winning the muta fight I knew I was going to win.
Q: Your current vs Z stats is 9wins and 1 loss.
A: Even before becoming a progamer I was confident in matches with zerg. But in major tourneys, I was too nervous to show this but now I'm adjusted and I think that's bringing out my real skill.
Q: Next map is Arcardia 2. It's a meaningful map for you.
A: At the proleagues, I was sent in order to fight with zergs. But both times I faced off against Terran. For the next match I already have a great strategy prepared. I will win again and advance to the next round. (Arcardia2 is an extremely Zerg map and there is only 2~3 terran players who beat zerg on that map)

You can say what you want about his execution--and I'll openly say that, for a progamer, it's embarrassing--but every build he's used this Starleague has been extremely well thought-out and effective. He obviously has an eye for strategy, even if his hands and brain can't keep up with other pros after the ten minute mark.
Added: I'm not saying I like him--I don't--but at least he's not another no-strategy Terran execution monkey who has nothing but great multitasking and a brain the size of a walnut; progaming has enough of them.
If you were in a StarLeague and you knew your mechanics suck in comparison with your opponent, it'd be natural and expected to go for wins in less traditional ways, choosing strategies in which luck, adaptation, scouting, and the like are more important. This is especially true against a semi-mindless master technician like Nada.

makes me wish he could face boxer in a series with a lot of preparation time hehe

Isn't TT Protoss....?
But yeah, he has great strategy. First five minutes of all of his games so far, he has been in winning position, I think?
TT will be one of the big protosses imo He will be the third generation of ra! (1st being ra, 2nd being anytime) TT, Bisu and Daezang are all amazing protosses i hope they all do well especially bisu!

TT is like.. old school. He made it into starleagues 3+ years ago ;p
I hope Bisu can win it.......and I'm very happy out of the players left three of them are protoss.......since at the beginning there was only 4 I think......
I really don't want TT to win....he killed NaDalol

I hate rainbow because he beats some of my favorite players, then does nothing in elimination play and currently is missing from and starleagues and has been kicked out of the qualifiers iirc (the latter is good though), more or less the reason people hate Mumyung. TT for the same reason, except unlike Rainbow, this guy has piss poor macro and lies on build advantages alone. His "unique strategic style" is like garmito's play with down syndrome.

My bets on Anytime or Bisu.
Expect a PvP semi-final or maybe a final who knows ^^
Yay! I haven't read an interview in a while and I love them. Thanks [Boyishgirl]Sharp! I remember from my lurking days before I made an account. ^_^ I think it was the 40 Progamer incidents.
