Korean List: Nada Yellow Reach rA
from:Uzoo.net I read the UZOO post, and I doubt it this is the true lineup. Because I just don't trust UZOO news yet. More importantly, I never read any foreigner's name except for Androide and PJ, and don't know where SEN or fisheye came from... =[ sen said him pj and fisheye were invited and the koreans being the same as they were in blizzcon i dont think its that hard to believe

if this was not the proper list, someone (like for example me, being that I am on the list) would have corrected it.
|
Maybe they were disappointed by the foreigners from BLizzcon and decided to add some new ones in for a better show?
Eriador and Sen makes it all the more interesting to watch

be kewl to see Drone play, but he'd have to stop fucking around and practice, enough of that hoping for the right race and dying when he doesnt get it.

k just wanted to make sure because I was a little confused there

I think Yellows chances are too low but -_-;; It's not like he's shown us why Storm zerg is so rememberable this last year either.

this gives me a good laugh Yellow 60% to win PJ rofl? are you kidding me?

I think it's pretty sad to complain about an invitational list, especially when you consider the fact that Drone has been part of the community for ages now.... so it's not like some newcomer out-of-nowhere player just got invited... have some respect ffs
I remember Ret after horribly underachieving @ WCG 2k4 saying how he "didn't care and didn't practise" when in fact that was the most important tournament he could ever play in... so yea Ret, i don't think you should be talking like that =[
The truth is that judging by results alone, the top non-korean list would be Fisheye, Androide, Mondragon, PJ, A2 (*edit: shit leg too)and then perhaps Sen, Testie and Assem... so tough luck mostly on the 2 russians, but i'd rather there weren't that many Terran players in such a tourney anyway...
I think and hope that above all we'll see some good games, which is definitely more than possible with these players... so good luck all!

non-korean: blackman testie androide pj
or :D
blackman raven draco suncow

But he's the KING of Event matches! (ex: BlizzCon and Snickers All-Star from last year)

I would recommend Super over Pj to participate in this event any time.

If it's about accomplishments the list would be otherwise except for PJ ? If the list was made by accomplishments the last year following players would emerge: Androide #2 WCG Advokate #1 TLT, 1# Some-invite, Top 16 WCG PJ #2 Replays.net, #1 mYm-invite, #4 GGL1 Ex #3 Replays.net, #2 mYm-invite, Top 8 WCG Assem #2 TLT, #1 GGL1 Testie #3 TLT, Top 16 WCG Legionnaire #3 WCG
Basically counting these tournaments since most of the best foreigners particpated in each of them. I dont think there's been other noteable ones. Three russians all placed among the top 16 players at WCG, and has over the years had even higher percentage of qualified players from the groups than mighty South Korea, yet they still seems to be ignored in events such as these.
Can someone tell me what Mondragon(HE BEAT REACH DOH!, Legendary beat BOTH Kingdom(imo it wasnt a draw) AND Boxer offline) has done other than being invited to Blizzcon, and winning some German-only LAN-events ? Imo Fisheye hasnt done that much either other than his top 16 @ WCG, well he did get top 8 TLT. SEn got top 16 @ WCG as well, but I dont know what else he's done. Dunno what Eriador has done.
Accomplishments doesnt seem to matter much though, but popularity does. Which is a good thing because then I'd be entertained instead of watching games I can see every week in OGN StarLeague VODs. I have huge expectations for this events, and hoping for some Nada Barracks Sex again

Oh and btw FOR HEAVENS SAKE DO NOT LET WACKSTEVEN DO THE COMMENTATING ALONE!!

I think drone will win this thing. Awww ok, scratch that.
I KNOW HE WILL WIN.
BTW, as a conspiracy man, I ask all of you why the heck is blizzard making all these events and patching the game... I think they're trying to to make the SC community think they care so we'll buy SCGhost... or maybe SC2!!!

Why ? Cuz it will be the best games available ;-) Its not important if foreigners have 'better chance' cuz its only theoretical, and if Ra is weakest @ PvP so it doesnt mean that FisheYe will have better chance to win ^.^ i hope for good games, and mu as i mentioned before can guarantee some -.-
sen wont beat ra if ra prepares for the games at all.
Just like no nonkorean terran would ever beat reach in important match = )
so good things theres no terrans for him to play *unless eri does play and gets random terran in whcih the game will be incredibly fucked up*
+ with the build order shit zvz, sen would have a better chance that way i would think. Even if his zvz isnt the greatest ever, if he got lucky with a good build order vs build order situation he could do well
