Blackman is far too busy with school and isn't really an option. Personally I think sen over androide (not even due to androide being retired). Not much to argue with about the list except Fisheye is fairly inactive and I think Drone is too? But if they both get active it will be a nice event. Drone is a cool player though and it we know he will be the fan favorite so I hope he does not disappoint us ![]()

He performed very well in the Blizzard continental tournament and won the SAMSUNG European Championship with a 2:0 win vs. Androide.

I may be alone here, but when I think of a showmatch I don't think of getting the aboslute best and having them go at it like a championship, I think of it as a chance for all the people involved to show-off their abilities. And the best way to do that is to take the most dynamic, innovative people(at a high level of skill) and pit them against each other. We have tons of leagues and ladders that give us games and vods and reps of the greatest players in the world going at it toe to toe playing the game as it's been refined to be played. I mean, personally, I get somewhat tired of seeing mondi v x zvp where both players play flawless zvp/pvz. I want to see two players go at it where there is no way to know what's coming, no standard play, long-ingrained counters, and bo's to execute. I want to see eri do his muta+queen infest rush, I want to see scvs ensnared and lurk dropped, I want to see fisheye pull off any number of totally retarded builds that work. For my money, the foreigner line-up is a good one, though for my own dreams I would love to see satanik there because of his playstyle. Fisheye, satanik, eri, pj; that'd be a great lineup, don't you think? Not the greatest foreign bw has to offer, no. Arguably none of them would be there in that case. But for a showmatch, can you think of a different group that has more to offer in the way of sexy strats pulled off to perfection against the best of the best? I can't. Also the way I see it, amongst the high levels of any sport/game, there is little difference in skill, a lot of it comes down to confidence and how much the sportsperson/player WANTS to win. So gl to all who got invited and GO ERI!!!! TL.net Represent!

Okey you could take many instead of eriador. But what exactly did Blackman do all in all ? Spawn, Draco, ect.. are all gosus indeed, but i would not like to see them if mondi , fisheye , sen ect.. can be sended.. + Most polish arent as famous and as known as fisheye / mondi or others.. !?

![]() I guess it's about acknowledgement. Poland has been top3 non-korean country for almost 4 years now. 3 prestigious events hosted by Blizzard, a couple of controversial picks and no Polish player. I never had much recognition and am pretty inactive, but come on, who wouldn't like to see Blackman there? Draco's been doing very good for the past 2 years also.

Draco's been doing very good for the past 2 years also. if you want to go on a country deserving acknowledgement you dont have a leg to stand on except maybe sen, who deserves to go just because of his skill. norway has had some of the best players and as has been said many times everyone loves eri, germany goes without saying as does fisheye on his own, china is probably the best outside of korea(again if your going by country) and pj is a progamer, so kinda hard to argue with him. blackman is inactive, draco hasnt really done anything recently and hasnt seemed as good as he had in the past, spawn hasnt done anything either, most of the rest are inactive/0 achievements/not on sen/pj/fisheye skill lvl at all.

PJ switched to pro some months ago, but failed miserably in WCG and what has he done since then? I don't want to argue this way saying "this person should go instead of this one", I just want to display my dissatisfaction that there are no Poles and that it isn't that obvious that we shouldn't be there. But it's really useless discussing this right now, I said everything I needed in my first post in this topic. You cry so much about Poland Whaaaa'? ![]() But the main reason for sure is that sponsors are not interested in Poland or Russia. They don't need to advertise in underdeveloped poor markets. They look for gamers from germany or US etc. Uhmm... no. Blizzard picked these people due to some opinions on TL.net from what I understood.

![]() ![]() 2-nd I can guess that in this thread were more than four people mentioned, and then from the big list of suggested players the ones that correspond to what i said above where chosen. It's like not just people from some countryes are taken no matter what, it's more like players from countries that interest sponsors have significant advantage to go, sometimes despite difference in skill/achievemnts. i think it is even easier and cheapier to send people from Norway/Germany than from Russia. The flight tickets etc. And 2 gamers are from asia 'cause it is even more cheap ![]()
