being a fan favorite in an INVITATIONAL tournament obviously means something, and dont disregard the rest of the sentence. you were talking about poland deserving a spot simply because poland is a good bw country, hard to argue that norway isnt. as you said fisheye gets active for big events, my guess would be this qualifies as a big event for him, and hes always performed well in any type of lan event.

poland the country is qualified, but so are plenty of other countries. however atm poland doesnt really have a player who deserves it.

PJ #2 Replays.net, #1 mYm-invite, #4 GGL1
Ex #3 Replays.net, #2 mYm-invite, Top 8 WCG
Assem #2 TLT, #1 GGL1
Testie #3 TLT, Top 16 WCG
Legionnaire #3 WCG

Basically counting these tournaments since most of the best foreigners particpated in each of them. I dont think there's been other noteable ones. Three russians all placed among the top 16 players at WCG, and has over the years had even higher percentage of qualified players from the groups than mighty South Korea, yet they still seems to be ignored in events such as these.

Can someone tell me what Mondragon(HE BEAT REACH DOH!, Legendary beat BOTH Kingdom(imo it wasnt a draw) AND Boxer offline) has done other than being invited to Blizzcon, and winning some German-only LAN-events ? Imo Fisheye hasnt done that much either other than his top 16 @ WCG, well he did get top 8 TLT. SEn got top 16 @ WCG as well, but I dont know what else he's done. Dunno what Eriador has done.

Accomplishments doesnt seem to matter much though, but popularity does. Which is a good thing because then I'd be entertained instead of watching games I can see every week in OGN StarLeague VODs. I have huge expectations for this events, and hoping for some Nada Barracks Sex again

Eh, Mondragon won ECG (beat androide in the final) 2004
Was in the first TLTour final.. Won tons of Giga Leagues.

And I'm not really THAT informed about what fisheye has done, but I do know he always does well in tournaments (most recently, finishing second in the Madrid LAN).

Yeah I forgot ECG, but EHHH i was speaking about accomplishments the past year so obviously TLT1 isnt gonna be mentioned as that one was back in 2003. The Madrid tourney had some good foreigners(ret, fish, zelotito, suker, squall, alfa(?) ) but not comparable to ECG, WCG, TLT, and the other mentioned tournaments imo.

Srry Tomson, but though i like FiSheYe as a player, there's no way blackman or draco deserve it more. For sure, Eriador is a spot you can argue about being better replaced by some polish gosu, but seriously.. Blackman was good at one wcg getting 3rd and that was it. FiSheYe is the ONLY player to take part at EVERY single wcg and i think 4 of the 5 times he made top 16 and two times top 8 and one time 2nd place. Always losing only to the the winner of the wcg or the runner up ( midas for example 04 iirc. ) ( i know he lost to Nazgul top 16 or 8 in his 2nd or first wcg apperance.. )

FiSheYe may be as inactive as it gets right now, doesnt change anything he totally deserves it. I hope he takes it seriously and can cut his real life a bit to train very much.

And tomson, i really really think high of gamers like Spawn, Draco, Tomson ( you ;p ) , blackman. But all these except blackman didnt even come CLOSE in achieving what fisheye / mondi / pj achieved. I mean, im not telling lies. FiSheYe and mondi won each on his own like ~ 20-30000€ with Bw.

I only know one thing : If fisheye prepares he can do good. If he doesnt he wont do anything..

Eriador doesnt necesserily deserve it skillwise, but i dont see a reason to put Draco or Spawn instead of him. They may have a higher pgtour ranking or whatever .but didnt rlly have success in something big. Only exception is blackman. But he WAS special and amazing. And he's inactive iirc, too..

But i can understand you're a bit dissapointed with no ploish gamer representing your country.. But its not Germany's fault they got two gamers playing for blizzards things. With mondi and fish we simply have two of the greatest non koreans for the last 3-4 years..

im looking so much forward for this event. Doesnt rlly matter at all who plays. It's just fucking cool on it self..

Blackman is wicked cool :-)
He deserves to take part in one of the next invitational events, because of his great playstyle ^^

Reach has the biggest chance to lose against a foreigner, but only if that foreigner is zerg.

Eri has the biggest chance to beat any of them just because of the way he plays. His builds leave him so far ahead or so far behind that playing against him is really a cointoss, especially zvt.

Reach doesnt have the highest chance to lose T_T Especiall not PvP or PvT. Maybe PvZ is a ''weakness'. But compared to the zergs we have its still as strength T_T

And its bullshit that Eri has the best chance. Coinflip !? T_T As if Nada would care what he will rape with his 80 m&m's an 10 vessels... T_T

Hey. Does anyone know what maps will be played?
Will they use their own ones again or usual maps????
There are 10 kind of people: Those who understand binary and those who do not.

Fisheye will get owned by Ra, like he did by ForU.
