Edit: I must say though, Fantasy looked a lot less confident than Jangbi during the introductions on stage. Quite the opposite from the final against Stork earlier in the yr.

Ok i remember it like; Jangbi successfully delayed the expansion putting Fantasy's eco behind (and zealots not being too much of a setback on eco). Macro macro macro and P is more ahead in unit count than he should be anyway due to the small advantage. Then the harass kills enough SCVs and does enough damage to mean Fantasy has to do some drastic or lose basically (it was good harass). But then Jangbi decides ok i'm gonna just kill you now instead of waiting. Small advantages rolling into easy lead.
Thanks for your explanation!
Just before JangBi dealt his final blow, Fantasy had a starport and science facility up. Was he expecting arbiters, which turned out to be a wasted investment in light of what JangBi attacked with? Or is that only a marginal cost?

Just watched the vods, I teared up after watching Jangbi winning game 5 and celebrating with his teammates. Just imagine how good he feels after coming back from the dead at least 3 times this OSL.

I honestly have no clue why Fantasy made science vessel. Quick science facility though is used for quick upgrades. Flash is very famous for this style.
As for what you saw as "2 base vs 2 base", it was anything but that. Jangbi got his 2nd base up quicker. And his zealots led several of Fantasy's scvs and marines on a wild goose chase which more than makes up for those zealots' cost, as otherwise Fantasy wouldn't be making marines and his scvs would be mining. Jangbi got his 3rd base up off of 2 gateways because he knew Fantasy had no timing for a 2-base pressure. Then his harass allowed him to macro with impunity while destroying fantasy's supply. That supply block basically allowed Jangbi to make one extra round of units, which off of 3 bases and I'm guessing 6-8 gateways is 12-16 supplies right there. And this doesn't even take into account the units Jangbi destroyed while only losing 4 zealots.
Basically fantasy got bitch slapped for the entire game.

That makes a lot of sense. I didn't catch those things as being that important, but I guess things add up. The harrass in game three was a lot more effective than that in game two.
Now that I think of it, I don't think he made a vessel. I just didn't think of needing a science facility for other things. He had a control tower, though.
