I thought fantasy had kept his wraith out of sight. When you are at an advantage, you think of the WORST CASE SCENARIO that can possibly happen that will make you lose. And the answer is wraith. It's pretty simple logic. I would have done the same thing... no progaming experience required. I would say... when he saw fantasy snipe the first 2 observers with his goliaths he probably knew something was up, so he made more.
I seriously doubt that. Fantasy could have done that to try to snipe carriers... but he only saw obs, so he killed obs. That's also a possible scenario. If Fantasy saw carriers with the scan he would have gone after the carriers.
Like I said, I think anyone who is reasonably good at any strategy game in Jangbi's situation will prepare for the worst case scenario when he was clearly winning. Also, Jangbi could probably tell what is going on based on how few tanks Fantasy made.

OGN tend to be a bit slower on their vods than mbc

Wasn't able to catch the games. But congrats to Jangbi!

more and more I'm thinking about this, Fantasy had incredible begining in game 5...and very poor later game. Nervous guy...

That, and it's just natural use of resources. Carrier builds are heavy on minerals and light on gas. Yet it also requires quick 2nd gas because the initial gas usage is high. But once the carriers are in full force, it's mostly minerals that's important.
Plus, I believe Jangbi's mineral probes were harassed a lot more than his gas ones. So he should've had tons of gas throughout the game. Unfortunately, the game was so intense I didn't exactly pay attention to details.
I think against most other terrans, Jangbi would've gone templars. But he might've feared Fantasy's vultures and decides to go goon-heavy which leaves a lot of gas unused.

Ultimately, Jangbi won because of Path Finder. Despite its apparent favouritism to Terran, it is evident that the logistics is way too difficult when the Protoss goes carriers. We saw in both games that Fantasy setup a base at Jangbi's third and built turrents like crazy. But all those investments went to waste when Fantasy could not keep up reinforcing that outpost with more tanks, so eventually Jangbi just rolled it over with Dragoons. That's how he won both games.

No jangbi storm, but not much fantasy vultures either.

And now i have to go back with my tail between my legs to the SC2 community haha. I will promise myself to watch starleague more regularly again though. It sounds stupid but Jangbi just brought all the passion that had slowly dwindled away back into my heart. And i remembered what it was like to be part of this community that doesn't constantly have inane whining and is so passionate. I feel like i've gone back in time to a few years ago. It's a nice feeling .

I haven't been this happy since Effort beat Flash.

What I still can't understand is how did Jangbi know the drop was coming?

I actually think he was clearly conscious of wraiths the whole time on set 5. He carefully separated his obs and stacked the ones following the carrier. There were a few occasions which he initially made all obs go together then separated them into two groups.

This sounds a bit too close like balance whining to me
Thanks everyone for the advice about VODs, though. TL is as always amazing!

Oh God now I`m so sad that I can`t watch this again with Nuke`s commentary without knowing the results . Well I guess a simple memory erase will do it.

then it was a case of both knowing jangbi went carriers, and low tank count means it must be cloaked wraiths. fantasy didn't attack because he saw jangbi had 5 speedobs following carriers everywehre so he knew that he knew, would be bad idea to attack. in the final push he had to use wraiths but was squeezed out of him.
