Whenever he loses it's because of map imba, because he made a mistake, cheese, or pretty much any excuse but that he got outplayed.
To be honest Flash apologist are atleast rational as compared to Bisu and Jaedong apologist who dont even use coherent logic in their johns for their respective favorite player.
That's pretty close to being a blatant lie. The new bandwagon Flash fans are just as illogical as the other "superstar's" fans.
I don't think Calm played too differently in the two games, and it's not the map. It all depends on the beginning of the muta attack. In game two Calm destroyed Flash's flank at the natural, so his muta micro looked godlike after that.

most of the stats collected there were not 1 rax expand games. So they do not necessarily say a whole lot about the difficulty in defending muta harass with bio there.
Remember when mech/fake mech was really popular?
Damn blizzard for invalidating mech/fake mech. Also, do you have exact evidence? This is just fuzzy logic and won't get anywhere.

Really? Making a mistake is different from getting outplayed now?
Yes, they're obviously very different things. If Flash makes a mistake, it should be forgiven because he's obviously so good, and everyone makes mistakes. His opponents never get any credit for playing well though.

Do you really believe that? Fanboys are all the same to me.

Yep, when somebody makes a mistake it's clearly the map's fault for being imba not the players themselves.
As for the game I think flash's turret placement was simply because he didn't expect calm to be so ballsy and run in with his mutas as well as expecting to be able to get the marine pack out to harass keeping mutas home a bit longer.

Dude, listen to Day 9's podcast. Nothing wrong with muta harass on HBR.
I have watched every single Day9 podcast, and as much as I love him, I will take Flash's word and the Z domination on the map as evidence. >:[
Both versions of HBR have above 50% win for Terran in TvZ
Yes everyone has said this.
now go ahead and menton how day9 said the map is balanced because day9 says every map is balanced. :>
It's okay, it was a fair loss. Hell Calm won the initial mind game by 12hatching just like Jaedong. Flash just didn't build 4 extra turrets because he probably didn't expect Calm to be as aggressive as he was, given the first game and his general playstyle.
There was nothing wrong with the win. Flash's building placement (Rax position) also made defending that corner in his main incredibly hard. Despite these things, it was also nearly impossible for Flash to defend his Natural (With the minerals touching high ground thing) and his main while having reasonable rax position without building an excessive amount of turrets. Factor that against 12 hatch and no matter what Flash ends up in a weird economic deficiency.
I get the game. I seriously do. You don't have to throw silly statistics that I am way more up to date on than most people here (seriously I am very serious about checking every factor of a Flash match ): ). Flash probably had a reason for why he thought Zerg was generally strong on this map -- maybe because it's a difficult map to play on in practice as terran despite televised games turning out fairly even.
ALL OF THAT SAID good job to Calm for making it an interesting series. I was really psyched that Flash may break 2400 elo or 70% winrate and that's not happening now, but for the general non flash fanatic public it's fine
Come one calm, pull out one of your snart, surprisoing builds. 3 hatch lurkers into queens anyone :D? If you control your mutas like last game then you probably won't need to use those builds.

Calm's build was very different. First game, he went 12pool gas. Second game, he went 12hatch. Wayyyyyyy different econ outcomes...
