 beenizzle: Firebats can take 3 hits from a sunken, so they will give your marines more time to fire. Also they are great vs any sort of dronedrills. The reason i made so many bats, and also had some rallied to the attack was because i was confident that i would break his sunkenline and from there his only chance was masslings. With sunkens down and firebats coming constantly i can kill those lings and seal the game. Much like Flash did vs Jaedong @ troy. Remember that when breaking a sunkenline, target the sunkens one by one. | ||

If there are lings, target ground and let them autofire on the lings first. They are easier to kill and thus removing more damage per second from your opponent. If there are very few you can let a group of rines target ground and the rest targetfire sunkens. When doing the ayumi build you have quite alot of units so it depends, if i have 2 groups or more marines i usually dont targetfire because its hard to control and there might be more fire than needed on one sunken if you know what i mean. It also depends on his sunkenplacements. Generally, if I have such large troop that if i attack one sunken, many units have to move around before being able to fire on it, then its not worth it. For smaller troups, its definately worth it. Large troup being aproximately 20 units ++ | ||

I was fortunate enough to know that something was up. A gateway or a pylon or...something was missing (I'm not too sure what to look for against protoss, I just knew -something- was missing and I noticed he wasn't upgrading goon range). I scouted around and found his templar archives. It took me a while to actually notice it was there on the minimap. I finished building turrets literally just in time. From there, I pushed his nat and contained him until I could reinforce and then he gave up. I post this well, partially because I'm proud of myself, and partially to reinforce the notion that Stylish gives good advice. As an aside, since I've practiced this build over, and over, and over again for the past 4-5 days, my APM when doing this build is over 20% higher over games where I previously did not use a practiced build. i played few games and went 2port on destination and zerg scouted me pretty fast and saw my gas before i could block the ramp and his reaction was to block his natural by placing sunk next to mineral like so i cant go behind it and block with 2hatches(3hatch total) and a hydra den so it was like wall.Igot my few wraiths about 4 and tryed harrassing drones and killed 1-2 ol and he comeswith like 12 hydras but i barely hold it and ilose alot of scvs.My quistion is what do you do when zergs scouts ur gas completely and expects that your going to mech or 2port,when do you add 2nd or 3rd rax?or you get bunker with 1 rax then ebay followed by academy? that kinda throws me off when i do 2port stratigy because idont know proper response to fast hydra.Oh and one more :p if zerg gets spore colony do you still try to kill some drones?or 2port woulnt be possible to win with if you dont do any damage | ||

Well if he intends to attack really early on you wouldnt need more than a bunker from 1 rax and keep harassing his drones with the wraiths when he's moving towards your base. If he's placing his hatcheries in a good position and sunkens so you cannot harass him with vults, keep them outside his base as scouts or and just make 1 vulture. Then 2port wraith is all about micro, most of the games you lose is probably because your lack in micro, its really hard playing 2port unless its unexpected. VorcePA thnx^^ | ||

and ihave quistion about 5fac push,you know how you open sort of fd style with 4 rines,so what if you scout protoss thats going 10/15 gate goon?will you still able to place mines even in close pos or you get seige and make cc near ramp or some what near it or behind wall if u have it.and wat if protoss tryes to put preassure and backs of with 3-4 goons outside ur base and u can place ur cc because if u come out ur tanks are gonna get sniped :/ isnt it buys some time for protoss to kick in his natural and maybe 3rd?would you still follow up with a timing push ur natural was delayed or go for mid/late game with ups | ||
