1. these strats are employed pretty frequently considering most of them are the "standard" builds 2. knowing the mechanics of the race you are facing is obviously a very good thing. i'm zerg and i have to say that i would get swallowed up by that 9 min push build pretty frequently at C plus until i actually learned the timings of it by practicing it at D level on another account. i'm personally going to practice the majority of the builds you showed against zerg. although, the majority of them i already know the counters for but its still great to find holes in your opponents game by knowing the exact timings of everything. | ||

i saw some p's on iccup and proleague trying to proxy gate at ur natural and block off wall and i wanted to know how to proper responce to that.. you cant wall off because of the pylon and cant kill gates unless u scout it soon or something ive played 1 game but protoss went only 1 gate outside my main and i fought it off and went drop so i can come back and win some mining time and dropped behind cuz nat and killed nex with 2nd drop ijust wanted to know how to response properly when u have 2 gate outside ur main or does it just really comes donw to micro? | ||

I generally don't like walling on destination, but if you still want to do it i suggest that you block the ramp with an scv until you have placed the barrack. Start blocking when suply is halfway done or before that. Most protosses will make a gateway before trying to block the wall so you can usually block before it gets in your base. | ||

Well first of all the word Counter might be overused in this thread, most of these things are not counters or hard counters at all but just pretty good builds to use vs some builds. Anyway yesthe Strong FD is good vs 10 15 gate, but you cannot be too agressive with the mines. You'll be able to push the protoss half way back across the map while you lay mines outside your natural. Protoss are cutting probes to execute his strategy and you will get economically ahead. If you notice that he takes expansions, by scouting with vults that has already laid mines, you usually dont need to add ebay and stuff before adding factorys but otherwise i would suggest that you follow it up by adding ebay, armory and siegemode and go for a 2-1 lategame blob since you will be economically ahead. | ||

If you position the scv in the middle of the ramp but almos at the bottom he cannot see the minerals. Position the scv as normally first and then move it down one step. I think I'm doing this is some VOD, maybe the 2port wraith VOD i cant remember. | ||
