Okay so i've tried using that more now in comparison to the "artosis" build which i've always used. I find that i can get a few more scv's and/or marines before the mutas come, cuz with the 9min push i build turrets at like 60psi, while with the artosis build i make turrets under 60psi. So anyways. I do realize that it deals with mutas pretty well, but a problem that i've come to face with it is when the zerg does some Muta + ling build that fully concentrates at your chock... I have about like 12 marines at my main, and like 6 rines + 1 bunker at my choke point, then suddenly he comes in with like 2 control groups of lings and 8-9 mutas at my choke and eventually breaks it....... i get that done to me all the freaking time.... ok so once you see that the muta ling is coming in bring your main's marines to the nat and use the nat scvs offensively. scan their base and use their minerals to stack our scvs and unstack them when the timing is rite to block off the lings from the marines and use them to attack the lings. so it will look like this. 1. muta lings come into nat. 2. you stim and bring main's forces immedaitely back to nat while scanning a external mineral patch you can use to stack scv. 3. as marines are coming, group scvs and stack them to that mineral line but press s rite in front of lings to unstack and block off the lings from your marines. 4. the lings and mutas get raped. mutaling is really btw lmfao. you didnt execute the 9 minute push exactly. you skimped. you didnt make 3rd supply until after cc. good chice, but...stylish says otherwise xP. you made your ebay at 40+ even though it shud be at 38...and other stuff. lmfao no matter, it barely matters anyway. | ||

Id have to concur, you do come off as somewhat of a pretentious douche/faggot, you sould work on that. And clarify about making the 3rd depot after cc, because in stylish's build he does build the 3rd depot (22), which is after the cc (18), so Im not sure what you mean about that? | ||

And clarify about making the 3rd depot after cc, because in stylish's build he does build the 3rd depot (22), which is after the cc (18), so Im not sure what you mean about that? sigh... if you could give me some reasons and examples of me being like that, that would be nice. kk. umm... in stylish's build, stylish says to build the 3rd depot at 22 supply. in yang's replay, instead of following the build exactly, he chose to do some optimization, which is really realy good. heres the game setup. 9 depot 11 rax (the max supply is now 18) 16 depot (the max supply is now 26) 18 cc and next is supply at 22 rite? yang doesnt build it because: -when cc finsihes, the max supply is raised 10 supply. -the 18cc timing just happens to finish 3 seconds after you reach 26 supply(the max). -and when the cc finishes at 26, the max supply becomes 36. now you can your 3rd supply at around 32 with the acad. its actually a pretty good edit, saving 100 minerals for later or to make a bunker without damaging eco. xD. *btw gj yang. your little cute edit gave me some ideas for my build order that i am secretly designing. | ||

When you say to wait for the 2/1 if the zerg does not go to hive, is this assuming he is on 2 base or 3 base? Like lets says he is going 4 base(no hive). Would we still wait for the 2/1 before pushing his natural when he takes a 3rd or 4th? | ||

ROFL. 4 base no hive is VERY rare... but h/o a bit. stylish means when zerg has 3 bases, and does not get hive yet, sit in base and wait. if zerg is on 3 base and gets hive,then you push. no zerg would do 2 base hive unless its not really normal game or they are desperate. idra also posted info about fighting 2 base hive in petzergling's guide. but if zerg goes 4 base no hive, you should push anyway. you should always be agressive once zerg tries to get a 4th. you must not let zerg get a 4th. | ||

I dont know if it might help i remember watching Light vs Zero on destination light does a similiar build 2 rax tech i think he added acad first before 2nd rax though but zero does the same thing you mentioned and light blocked it off pretty well with no bunker.
