They do. I seen boxer do it in a video as well as day9 talked about it. Thumb on right CTRL and point finger on 8,9,0 But you could just hotkey it in a more peaceful time so they are already bound to the hotkeys so when there is battle you just click 0 and then left click on scan button. It is big distance between 0 and S so it's faster to actually press sweeper with a mouse. To speed things up you can position camera above the scanning area so that it takes less time to reach scanning area from scan button with a mouse. Or you can just press 0 and then move left hand to S and press it while keeping mouse above scanning area and be ready to scan once hotkey is pressed. Whatever makes your party going.

Micro like a mofo and try to whittle down his zealot number keep pumping speedlings as necessary and dash into to snipe any cannon that starts building...to be honest I've never dealt with a 2 gate -> cannon contain so I'd need to watch a replay...

What's the best way/quickest way to change the rally points of all my factories late game so I can rally closer to my army? It takes me forever and I'm sure there must be a quicker way, it's just when I watch Sea/Ssak/Mind and Mong they seem to do it instantaniously and I can't work out how :p

Don't worry if there is a cannon warping in range of the morphing sunken, because a sunken colony will definitely kill a cannon. You want to gradually add sunken colonies to your front as the game progresses, but not all at once. Second, don't get your gas right away. Get a fourth hatchery and an evolution chamber. This is because you will be spending a lot of money powering drones and getting zerglings/sunkens as needed. The evolution chamber is to make a spore colony, and eventually to get your +1 whatever upgrade. If he sees you are turtling up, his most likely course of action will be to go mass corsair to stop you from dropping or going mutalisks. Step three (this is optional, because if he does a cannon contain like that, he will be behind in economy if you drone up): get your gas, then get +1 ranged attack, then get lair. When the lair is finished, start researching your drop tech and get a hydralisk den. You should start pumping out a lot of hydralisks, and getting upgrades for speed/range/lurker, in that order. Actually, you get lurker first, but if he sees a huge bunch of slow hydras for awhile, he might get suspicious. I really recommend hydra first, especially for if he does something gay like building a robotics facility at the cannon line to make reavers to siege down your sunken colonies. Once the overlord drop is done, wait until the corsairs are away, and load up the hydralisks, then drop them over your wall to the outside. Then run over and kill his natural. Once you do this, he should end up pulling all of the zealots back to defend, and once that happens, you can knock down his cannon contain.

Could someone give me some tips what to do? I've forwarded some ports on my router config page (6112,6115,6119), added brood war as an exception to the windows firewall, but still nothing.

The one you dl off iccup doesn't have a valid cd key, so doesn't work for official bnet servers. If you do have a legit copy, how exactly are you not able to connect? Do the servers not show up in the server list? Is there an error message when you try to connect? You havn't really given us enough information to work with.

You havn't really given us enough information to work with. Well I'm not sure what I have to tell you. But here are the answers to your questions: - I have legit copy. - The servers show up in server list. - There is an error message when I try to connect. (forgot what it was sorry, could tell you later perhaps) - The extra information: brood war is not the only game that's unable to connect. So far other games also failed to connect to internet servers.

If that allows you to connect, then turn them back on and try tweak further, but try to isolate where the problem is first. If it's other games also failing to connect then chances are it's either firewall or router related. So if turning off all firewalls doesn't work, chances are it's going be something to do with your router settings (incorrectly fowarded ports don't stop you from connecting to bnet usually, just hosting, so it's probably not that). But yeah, first make sure it's not firewall related, firewall problems are easier to fix. If it's router related, basically good luck, those are incredibly tricky to fix, and if it's a connection related problem, then completely can't be fixed.

If I'm not mistaken, I got some extra safety stuff or something on my router. Should I disable my router safety settings as well?

You should go into your router and investigate the settings and adjust them accordingly. But if you are blocked by your internet provider then fixing your router is not gonna do much.
