Another exception is if you're zerg, in which case it's better to have a 1~1.5 ratio and just expand whenever you can, because of the larva limitation. I don't know the exact time for protoss or terran since I'm a noobish zerg player, but I think it's better to go by the saturation rule than risking over-producing workers because you're following some stupid guide that tells you to stop at X or Y. | ||
