For the first subtitle, took me around 3-4 hours, mostly because of the damn program that wouldn't open up. It opens up occasionally, no clue why.

For the second subtitle, took me about a whole day. Probably close to 9 hours. I never in my life studied more than 4 hours. And also, I'm no computer wiz. If someone teaches me a better way/program, I probably could've done it faster.

As far as the cast goes, I have no preference. I like Lee Seung Won (Small guy on the right side with the glasses) from MBC cast. He has incredible insights and whenever he says something, it happens. The middle one just overreacts to anything and the other one has arrogant tone as if he knows everything (imo). I love when Lee Seung Won proves him wrong.

Although I think OGN has better chemistry together, other than TheMarine and Carrier Kim, they lack insight. TheMarine has very good insight, but he has squeaky voice I don't like. Carrier Kim I love. And he's the main reason I watch OGN. (Him and the Fat Dude)

Each cast has its own cons and pros and I wouldn't mind seeing one for the another.

I'm going to make a subtitle for one of next MSL Ro16. If you're interested, resist the temptation and wait for my subtitle >.< (Yes, I know it's hard) I'll probably have it by end of the week. Maybe Saturday night?

Korean commentators are very knowledgable in TvT and I just want to share. But then again, if game goes over 45 mins... Let's just hope Anytime vs Nada will be a kickass game

Man, I haven't yet had the chance to tell you how amazing your subtitling of Iris vs Jaedong was. The commentators go crazy deep into the game, and I picked up quite a few little timing hints from it.

I can't thank you enough for doing this.. I've always wished for subtitles but I was never hopeful and never thought that anyone would go through the work to do it so this is just amazing.

hey guys i have an issue, i open the .avi file with winamp and the video plays but i dont get any subtitle, what should i do?(same with windows media player)

I was having the same problem, I downloaded BS player when it was brought up in the other thread (i think) and it works like a charm. I don't know how to get it to work in WMP :/

Make sure the VOD and subtitle have identical file names.

i downloaded BS player, the files are as follows inside a folder:

game1.avi
game2.smi

i opened with bsplayer using 'open file' and nada.

There's your problem I think. I'm pretty sure it should be:
game1.avi
game1.smi

Download this file, rename it to game1.srt and it should work. BSplayer needs subtitles in the .srt format as opposed to .smi.

In fact, I just realized that the .srt format works in Windows Media Player too if you prefer it :p

FUCK man i say you should get some sort of official recognition from the TL.net staff. seriously. the subs have really helped me understand the tvz matchup and it was just so exciting watching it every fucking second was so good and yea i finally know what the commentators are saying.
