ASL has this new map called Lemon. It seems extremely awesome. Does anyone have any better of a description of the map? I tried it out and the middle seems to reduce vision so units like Spider Mines and Siege Tanks appear to have less range. The mains start with 2 gases but the naturals have 0 gas. The second expansion has double gas. Any buddy have any better map description of the map or balance predictions/statistics? Thanks.
Zerg would love this map as far as ZvT is concerned, you only have to occupy 2 areas to get 4 gas, and all of those except the center are on high ground.
Do the big crystals disappear from the two unused starting points at a later point of the game? If they don't we're going to have ourselves a very unusual map.
I love unorthodox maps, but this has got to be the worst map I've seen in a long time. It is trying to achieve too many things at once, not good for competition imo. Which race can put the Pseudo BGH influx of resources to use best? Which race can use/abuse the map layout the best?
I would have liked to see Turn and Really play on this map, but I'm not excited to see any of the current Terrans try to play this map. Of the other races maybe Shine and Ss1nz can show us some cool stuff? Perhaps Stork can revisit his old-self?

Maybe someone can come up with sponbbang stats for that. But from my eyes test from a few PvT games, Carrier play is unplayable on this map. Just look at the water areas behind the natural and third.
I believe Stork once tried 1-base Carrier vs Light and win. Just yesterday in Proleague, Best also bullied the shit out of Light with Carriers. I have never seen Light, despise having 3 bases and a max out army, got dominated that much.

They do not.
Also, players' buildings can overlap slightly in their start location. I believe the way it works is that people can build one building at the location where the crystal was even though their CC/hatch/nexus also partially occupies that spot. I think this is necessary because the mains are very small.

you can also search for "프로리그" (proleague) and "위너스리그" (winner's league).
they usually play both series back-to-back as teams of 4 players. proleague is where they each have to play 1 game followed by an ACE match if it's tied 2:2. winner's league is where the winner continues to play the next game until a team has no players remaining. if 1 team wins proleague and the other team wins winner's league, then they have a "super ace match".
if you understand korean, a lot of the banter and trash talking amongst the observers during the matches is pretty funny

where can I watch this.. "proleague"?
Here's Stork 1-base Carrier game vs Light. Guy had 2 Carriers out before his 2nd Nexus lol. https://vod.afreecatv.com/ST/75185540 (game starts at 03:37:38)
You can find the Proleague matches on their Afreeca/Twitch/Youtube VODs list. Just go to one of Queen/Light/Best/Snow/Mini/Hero... account and scroll to the part where it looks like 2 of them are playing and the other 6 are observing. They do that every day. Games are spectacular (ASL quality or even better).
