also holding down a hotkey (0-9) won't keep centering you on that unit/control group. same with ctrl+c | ||

I posted suggesting they let us turn mouse accel off.. no one will want to use forced mouse accel and I'm surprised not many people on TL are talking about it. | ||

Yet, that is exactly what happened once again. Maybe they needed one more year to prepare a non-game breaking patch for an 20 year old game? Yes, there is some need for a new framework for matchmaking, maybe ladder, joining games without bugs. And yes, the new artwork is really high resolution, but I am not sure if it really looks better. It looks odd, in a sense. The only good thing Starcraft Remastered may do is give a clear signal to everyone to abandon SC2 'because it is no longer the latest RTS release'. | ||

How do you know there is no accel when they don't have a setting to turn it off? It goes off blizzards mouse settings in game, not windows or your drivers so it's whatever blizzard defaults are.. I personally think it's on because it feels more accelerated than 1.16 by comparison. Considering whether it's on is subjective, if blizzard included a setting for raw input we could 100% control it. | ||

It can be done by obs players not sending packets, so others don't have to wait on them if they lag. There's no point in waiting for them if they lag, since they're not actually playing the game. | ||

You find a fixed point on your mousepad to where you move the mouse (by e.g. blocking it there with your other hand), then you move away from that point and move to it both fast and slowly. If the cursor on your screen ends up at the same location no matter whether you move to that point fast or slow then there is no mouse acceleration. Pretty much what the guy in this video does: Click me. Or do you mean the actual sensitivity feeling different? | ||

I am willing to bet that there was a fire lit under their ass because of projects like OpenBW, ShieldBattery, and BW:HD, as well as the emergence of a bigger and better ASL. They were probably like "shit shit, if these guys are gonna do all this crap for free, we have to beat them to market and make our money asap." At least that's my guess, considering that they had a much better excuse a year from now for the 20th anniversary. | ||

Haven't really been playing on 1.18 while waiting for the fixes, and I think a lot of others dismissed 1.18 until it's completely fixed. You're right, though. Definitely some mouse accel going on, makes it nearly impossible to play. On top of that, I'm STILL getting some dropped frames and mouse lag. EDIT: Fixed when I disabled portrait animations??????? | ||

Example the stats for my account were completely different with about three times as many games played when i used different capitalisation on my username.Same letters, same password, same server but totally different stats. | ||
