So my friend is trying to install SCBW and it seems he's having trouble connecting to the Blizzard launcher in some way. He also can't download Hearthstone or any other Blizzard game. Does anyone know any possible causes of this? I've told him to run it in compatibility mode and run as admin. I also told him to disable his antivirus and firewall apps, but neither of us are particularly tech-savvy and I have no idea if he possibly has something else preventing this download from working. He can download the little installer app, but then it says he can't download necessary files. I tried Googling the error code and none of the responses seemed to help.

First unhide all files and folders the delete the folder C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent. This has worked for me.

Does the new patch fix game crashing when people host? I seem to have this bug without fail.

anyone having the crash with the new patch? apparently some adobe program is causing a service to mess up and actually crash a lot of the time for alot of people.

This thread seems to be full of people discovering weird stuff that BW does and blaming it on 1.18 (wasting developer time searching for regressions that don't exist), or taking the opportunity of new patches to ask for changes. Most people don't want the game to change, I thought this was pretty clear by now
