is there like an idiot proof guide on having 1.16 for iccup and having 1.18 at the same time?

I already DL'd 1.18 and it's at C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft

do I just DL the iccup version and put it in a different filepath? and iccup/mcaLauncher will know how to handle?

yes

With iccuplauncher just point on your starcraft.exe v1.16 and for mcalauncher you have to modify the windows registery (check the mcalauncher thread on tl, the lastest posts).

Hi, someone has a backup of the PTR Patch 1.18.0 PTR B, released in 2017-04-06? the last PTR patch wich had the keybind option? i made a big mistake downloading the PTR C where they removed the keybind. If someone has the file plz help me posting it.

P.S. : PTR is still active and u can play with PTR B and also C. A tip for those who want to train with customable hotkey like me: don't dowload PTR C, it ereases B version that has Keybinds.

It's rather confusing what Blizzard has done, breaking the community like Source/1.6. I'm watching Best and he's playing on the new UI it appears and Fish ladder channel looks a little updated with UI and rank icons. I understand if they will patch and have this fixed for the remaster Starcraft, but I'd really like to play all servers without having too jump between MC, wLauncher, or reinstalling 1.18 just too play and have plugins available as well as lan latency...

You won't have to. The Fish server new season started today (I believe) that is updated to 1.18 and requires the newest version.

Only community now that you still have to do this for is shield battery/iccup. Iccup won't be updating but Shield battery will.

And ShieldBattery supports transparently downgrading 1.18 clients behind the scenes, so you can just point it at your 1.18 client and it will work fine (and continue playing on 1.18 servers with that client when you don't want to use ShieldBattery).

This is one of the goals of 1.18. To let everyone easily download and play Brood War without having to download and configure third party programs or other hacks in order to play the game. It is preferable if they get everything working right.

Who knows maybe people will be able to create third party programs that add some features to 1.18?

Don't really know where to post this, but does anyone have an idea why this map does not work? For some reason I can't post on the official forums, because it wants me to log in, however nothing happens when I do so.

The second one called "Magic TG Arena...v.£ÑîgmA". When I try to host a game, it says others can't download the map. I figured out the weird characters in the map name might've caused this, so I renamed it, and it would let me host, however the in-game lobby didn't shop up at all. I could write in the chat, but that's all.
