I thought armor was very bad against terran. Do you possibly mean plasma shields? Going plasma shield makes sense because it affects both Carriers and ground army.

It could be a blunder thought because it seems wierd. Maby his brain mistook it for another cybernetics core and meant to get air armor :p http://bwreplays.com/br90m here is the replay ![]()

I wont deny that the strategies and tactics have improved, but apm, multitasking and overall game mechanics that came from playing 12 hours a day with a bunch of pros cant be swepped under the carpet

Nowadays, we have a greater variety of builds on (mostly) less "figured-out" maps with far less (basically none afaik) coaching staff support. This results in much more variability of Vessel timings, much less confidence in which variation is chosen, etc. That's my best guess, but I am admittedly not as up-to-date in TvZ so i invite someone more knowledgeable to correct me if need be.

How come we never see that from anyone anymore? My guess is a combination of: no zerg is THAT good any more, Ts are better at protecting their vessels, and 111 is so popular with so many variations that timings are way harder to get right for Z (easier to know the right timing when every T was going 3rax every game for years). I seem to recall at least attempts at this happening in the first half of 2019? Also it does definitely still happen for ZvP trying to get the second Corsair I think?

I can't figure out why they never tried. They cut the team immediately after the release to go work on WC3 and while I feel they never intended for SCR to launch with so many issues and they're trying to stop that happening this time, it kinda sucks that no matter how passionate the SCR team is they're so small that it'll be hard for them to really help. Not only they left game to die, seems like they broke so many things with all those damn patches, some scripts aren't working. Seems like they fully gave up: I didn't see any blue posts on forums in a looong time.

I share your feelings, but its actually easy to figure out. Wc3 has a lot more viewers and players now then bw when scr was launched, specifically in the western hemisphere i mean. Thats basically the reason why.

I was also sad when I didn't see BW included in this upcoming event... T_T

This is the only sensible rationale behind all of this. Don't forget everybody that it's all still just a business at the end of the day, especially when it comes to the financial side of things.

Broadly speaking, is this percentage of health issues causing alternative or non-service common for other Korean men? It seems like many Brood War players have special accommodations. I guess there is a selection bias in that anyone who suffered from a medical condition as a child would be more likely to play Brood War than football, but still I'm curious if this kind of accommodation is common outside of pro BW.
