It is sad because many Zerg like to turtle when I play ladder. So I have no choice but to enter 50 minute game! | ||

The solution is timing attacks and harassment, as well as ensuring that you have at least 50% of the map with defense. In the super late game, all things equal, Protoss should win because of Templar low mineral cost and their spell arsenal. | ||

The logic is that you force Zerg to spend larva and money on Drones instead of army, which means that they can't just keep pumping units non-stop, which is obviously good for you. The infinite gas thing only really applies in the super-late game, as I mentioned before, where Protoss benefits much more from that scenario where there are no more minerals on the map. Hallucinating Shuttles to absorb Scourge is something that I've never seen done before so I'm going to assume that it's not a good choice. The logical explanation for that is that it's better to use Storm if the Templar has energy, and that if there are Scourge then you can just use Corsair which you should have anyway. Another is that a Shuttle with speed should outrun/dodge Scourge anyway if micro'd. Yet another possible explanation is that if you have the time/APM to be hallucinating Shuttles to catch Scourge, then you probably could be doing something better with your time. Trying to stick to what's known about the game is more likely to make you a better player than trying to come up with quirky solutions (if your goal is indeed to win and get better). | ||
