That's why they have tried to undermine BW for several past years instead of winning Korea fair and square. Why would Blizzard pump so much money into SCII to try and make it the leading esports in Korea then turn around and start pumping into BW and leave SCII in the dust? It'll never happen because it'll alienate any fans that they made with SCII likely losing them a large chunk of money and they are a business after all. Just imagine the community outcry(SCII section) if such a thing happened. They're already singing SCII is dying lol. On top of that, Blizzard should've just invested into BW in the first place but they would make more money prompting SCII since LoTV is still coming out in ~2 years time or so. Ya, they have some ego issues with refusing to have certain mechanics in SCII that should be normal imo like high ground advantage.

The drive is already there, moreso than in case of SC2, afaik. Using WC3's BNet infrastructure/code (which seems to be compatible with BW) and possibly integrating iCCup etc. features (I don't think their creators would oppose that) does not take that much effort. And they wouldn't have to leave SC2 in the dust either - the games are different enough for them to get Blizzard's support. I'm pretty sure they could come up with a new model of monetizing BW that takes into account the PC Bang culture, UMS community, map making community, the sports culture and so on. I mean, if Valve can make a fortune by selling hats, why can't Blizzard do the same? Their fanbase used to be equally enthusiastic as Valve's.

I see your point though and even though it's valid, I highly doubt Blizzard will do it. To them, BW is old and SCII is its replacement that 'they' made which is why they have a large ego when it comes to SCII and flat out refuse some of the communities' suggestions. Yes, Blizzard's fanbase can be equally as enthusiastic but it doesn't seem like Blizzard will make the right moves to take advantage of that.

Jaehoon was finally overcoming nerves and doing well at the end too (something like 64% WR over last calendar year of BW) and just rolled hero 2-0. Afreeca protoss is getting a major buff!

I don't think it is wrongdoings on your part Snipealot, it is more about the function of the contemporary Twitch.tv system. A few weeks ago, the stream ran at a very smooth pace but lately there happened to a few lag spikes there and there. This doesn't just concern us but also other games (as I've seen complaints on multiple fronts).
