Thus Blizzard cannot do anything about it. if you read the post (the link provided in the OP) you will notice that it specifically said that it's not a windows emulator, which is why it doesn't work 100% yet.

It is *essentially* an emulator. It works very similarly to Wine, except that there is a conversion step that takes place before running, likely to reduce the number of windows APIs it needs to implement. It does not go so far as to try an emulate an entire windows computer, but it does emulate the Windows 95/98 APIs and use them to achieve similar outcomes (drawing on the screen, receiving input, etc.). Yes, you can claim that's "not an emulator" but that's just being pedantic. The reason it doesn't work 100% yet is because they haven't implemented all the APIs, which could be just as true of a pure hardware-level emulator as it is of this.

I wasn't concerned that I couldn't micro, cuz I didn't know what it was. I just having fun, and it's a mindset I wish I didn't lose when I got older :< .

The game featured all of the missions from both StarCraft and the expansion Brood War, as well as some exclusive missions, such as two different tutorials and a new secret mission, Resurrection IV.[65] Resurrection IV is set after the conclusion of Brood War, and follows Jim Raynor embarking on a mission to rescue the Brood War character Alexei Stukov, a vice admiral from Earth who has been captured by the Zerg. The Brood War missions required the use of a Nintendo 64 memory Expansion Pak to run.[66] In addition, StarCraft 64 features a split screen cooperative mode, also requiring the expansion pak, allowing two players to control one force in-game.[67] StarCraft 64 was not as popular as the PC version, and lacked the online multiplayer capabilities and speech in mission briefings. In addition, cut scenes were shortened.[65] Despite this, the game maintained positive reviews. Blizzard Entertainment had previously considered a PlayStation port of the game, but it was decided that the game would instead be released on the Nintendo 64.[68]" From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarCraft#Nintendo_64_version Considering you can plug a mouse and keyboard into Android tablets often (you can on my one at least, although I had to use a USB hub to get both in at the same time) I could totally see gaming on the go, so you can get some practice in while you're on the airplane and such. That abomination is nothing like BW.

edit: apparently the winulator starcraft profile is needed, which was not stated or provided anywhere in the website.. replay was fine, except that it can be very glitchy.. like suddenly the replays does not show according to what was really played.. some units became invulnerable too.. if they could fix all these, i'm sure it will be very useful for replay analysis

![]() When I was about 12 I always wanted to play be able to play StarCraft on vacation etc... but I would need a CPU and internet! Of course, it wouldn't be like playing on PC, but if you have the "fun" mindset in mind as others have stated, it would be hell of a lot more entertaining than normal cellphone games. iCCup Mobile is the future, folks. ![]() edit: Just realized someone bumped this. I hadn't heard about it, though. Was playing SC2 during that period :D However, with this being said, I still think mobile should be more accepted by now! I see some really trashy games being played by my co-workers etc. on their phones. If someone could make this an easy and tested game on cell phones, it could bring some new life into the SC world. Overwatch is very popular at the moment.. all they'd need to do is plug the fact it's made by Blizzard and an oldie but goodie for FREE on tablet/phone ^^
