Hasn't got much on a Starleague final but there's way more people there than would fit in the OGN studio at Yongsan.
Thanks for posting these, kimbilly.
also keep in mind that this was in a very detached part of seoul as well. anyone who could have likely made it didn't go due to distance. They held it over 2 hours away from Bucheon and Incheon, and about an hour away from places like Sinchon, yongsan, and Sindorim, which all have a lot of homes and such.
I really think that in order to maximize attendance, they should have started earlier especially with all the shows/ performances that happened. I really wanted to see some epic hive tech zvz at first but as the night went on I found myself hoping for the games to end quickly so I could get catch the last train home all the way back to suwon without missing anything. I basically ran out of the hall when latva type the last gg and was dissappointed because i wanted a picture with killer (did mange to shake his hand as he walked down to the stage however :D). Other than that, it was a great night.
I believe the stadium seated 800? And it was absolutely full when the games began, which equates to more people than attended the last proleague finals (according to eye measurement at least). Thanks for the pics !

hahahha i remember right before they started the 3rd/4th a dude came up to the commentators to put up a poster on the table so their legs wouldn't show. Hahaha lots to learn indeed but the turn out was great nonetheless.
it's really cool to animate this event with guest star and music instead of focusing only on broodwar. I think that's the way you can keep the scene successful.

The place was pretty much full in the first half but people started going away as it was getting really late!
Hmm. Why did they schedule at such a bad time?
Idk, but there's a number of possible reasons. Like the price (cheaper to rent later?) or possibility (they had to reschedule, might have been lucky to find a spot even if so late), also availability (of all the guests, probably better in later hours?). Overall I think it's a great success given it was the first time. And as has been stated before, there are so many young faces in there. Awesome to see!
lol on afreeca some guys were asking why the crowd was so dead, but then ppl who attended said that they were loud as hell, just no mics were pointed at the audience .. and apparently some ppl were sitting on the ground and stairs at some point, so safe to say the attendance was 800+ ^^ viewership numbers I have no idea, but during down times it was 18k+, and usually viewership numbers always rise during game by at least a few thousand
