Back on topic now, the only thing the player in question did was unpause withought asking you, maybe he wasnt aware of proper etiquette? which seems to have been the case, 6 pools are cheesy but leggitimate | ||

generally my principle is that if you expect to be away from keyboard within the next hour then don't start the game, or if you have to leave a game unexpectedly then the reason must be more important than a fucking game. i have never paused when i needed to leave the computer even though it costed me games, and i rage a lot when my opponent pauses even for a second | ||

Also I've noticed zerg players have just the worst manners ever. Terrans might get pissed off and float buildings away, protosses might cry OPMATCHUP, but for some reason bad mannered zergs can be the most hateful, spiteful people you'll ever meet in an anonymous environment. It really takes away from some of the fun of laddering. Just plan when ya play sc2 ladder. there are no breaks midgame T_T. | ||

Be thankful that drop hack from SC1 isn't in this game. If you think that having someone unpause on you is bad, think about having the drop screen pop up and the only way to exit the screen is to click "drop", drop drops you. I hate you drop hackers! The bm on SC2 is unreal and like the saying goes... If you can't beat them.......... Join a group on facebook that hates them. | ||

In my experience zerg is the most frustrating race to play by faaaar, that's probably why. I've laddered about 250 wins with T and Z and about 500 as P, and Z is the only race that makes me want to just throw my mouse at the wall after games. | ||

 I can't bring myself to get a pool earlier than 14, whatever matchup, and I feel terrible when I have to pause. Just last weekend I started a game and about 3 minutes in I sneezed and had to get up and get toilet paper from the other side of the room, but I still felt bad asking for a pause. So I didn't, I just ran as quickly as i could across the room and back, Unfortunately for me I was being 11/11 raxed. Oh well. Off topic, I've won all my games today so far, including against protoss, my hardest MU. ^^ I had to share that. | ||

I basically deduced that this kid purposely paused and unpaused shortly after without asking to hopefully get a win with his 6 pool... Now pissed off, I'm ranting about this. I'm by no means a nice guy on ladder but i'd never consider pulling anything as underhanded as this. | ||

On the bright side, once you get to top of the ladder (high master+) most people are really nice and respectful (at least from what i saw on EU), i once started a match vs some guy called TMCKrolu and it was PVP, We decided to play rock-paper-scissors to decide who wins, i won and he said gg and left :D! I start asking people for rock-paper-scissors every time i get a PvP! | ||
